A warm hug to all the people who read me, I hope the week is being of much benefit to you, for me it has been, between the study and the responsibilities that I usually attend to in the day, I took some time to let my imagination fly and I made this drawing of inventiveness.
Inventiveness has other synonyms, such as: ingenuity, creativity, imagination, among others, so you have an idea of what this term refers to. When we apply it to a drawing, painting, or any other plastic activity (this also includes sculpture) it means that the theme is the result of our imagination, we are not copying ideas or themes previously proposed.
Here is the step by step:
1/3
It may not make much sense, but to start this drawing I scribbled on the leaves. I just closed my eyes and let myself go. From there I started to look for shapes within the same doodle where I could draw any figure. That's how I managed to find the first space where I decided to draw the wings of a butterfly.
2/3
Little by little I added more and more animals, until that became the theme.
3/3
Even though at the beginning I wanted it to be a purely linear drawing, I added details, shadows and textures to each figure until I achieved the following result.
Do you spot which animals are present in the drawing? What other figures can you see?
Materials I used:
-Small notepad.
-Chinese ink.
-Black marker 0.5mm fine tip.
The fun of making this kind of drawings is that you don't know which direction the drawing will take, since the doodles limit you to work on the space and the shaped lines, but at the same time it opens your mind, so your creative makes an extra effort to find a figure that fits the spaces that conform it.
That's all for today, I hope you liked my drawing, if you have any questions or advice you can leave it in the comments, I love to answer them.
Thanks for all the support, take care, keep creating.
