Hive has an intangible reputation as well as an on-chain reputation via tangible digital recordable. This is unique to decentralized systems, where you have a digital reputation and an intangible human-to-human-readable, non-numeric reputation that adds subjective value to a user's account. It is important to note that this is on top of your intangible reputation in normal reality with your friends.
