The Sum of All Its Parts - Post-Rock Style Improvisation

Here is a post-rock style jam that combines my Roland Handsonic, Partsocaster, Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody and Musicman Stingray bass. The whole composition started out with a drum beat I composed in midi using the handsonic to record midi notes for my Superior Drummer plugin. I believe I used the post-rock ezk big oak kit for the drums. Once the drums were in place I created a few tracks on my home made partsocaster to get the rhythm down. Once the rhythm was in place I brought in the bass to add a bit of cohesion to the guitars and drums. Finally to finish it all off I added a couple tracks on my Paul Reed Smith hollowbody guitar that harmonize in octaves as a general improvisation. All the guitar effects were derived from direct recording via my Axe FX II.
