¡Buenos días!☀️querido visitante artesano,un gusto saludarte 🌷. | Good morning! ☀️ Dear artisan visitor, nice to meet you 🌷.
Blouses with straps have always been in fashion, and for me it has always been a challenge to be able to make this type of garments, you may wonder why and the truth is that yes, to be honest, there is a reason, it is not a lie that when making garments with straps and crossed it is very difficult for us to be able to sew the straps to such a point that they fit perfectly and although no matter how much we mark, in my case one always ends up bigger than the other and I like that a lot when sewing 🤭but I have always said that you should not stop trying to do what you cannot do at first since with practice we perfect what we have learned.

At the beginning of the making it was a little complicated for me to sew the part of the crossed straps and to tell the truth I did not doubt that the results of this blouse would turn out well, and sometimes I feel that we need to trust in what we are doing, put all our effort and love into it so that what we do turns out wonderful, although this blouse is easy to cut and sew, it has helped me a lot to learn to experiment with this type of blouses that I had not sewn for a while, I share the process with you, I know that you will like it a lot and I hope it helps you too to make this type of blouses with your scraps of fabrics and make different color combinations, all to your taste and style, so sit back and welcome in advance to this tutorial ❤️😌...

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:
Paso 01
Step 01
Starting from the measurement of my blouse as a reference, we will proceed to get the main scraps to cut the pieces. We will cut the piece for the front waist and the back. We will give the front a fall in the chest area and leave the back as normal. Then we cut the straps to the total width of our armhole. The straps are 3 cm wide. We also cut straps for those that cross.

Paso 02
Step 02
We then proceed to sew first the bias of the front part of the blouse pieces, we sew from the inside out, resting this part well, we do the same with the back piece, sewing from the inside out, then we sew the sides of the blouse with overlock stitching and straight stitching.

Paso 03
Step 03
It's time to sew the hem of the blouse with an overlock and make the hem of approximately 1 cm and we will fold it inwards sewing it with a straight seam around the entire edge. We will also sew the straps that cross in this case we will use two of 15 cm long x 3 cm wide, we sew inside and turn.
Paso 04
Step 04
Finally we sew the straps of the armhole part and when we are sewing the strap upwards we place or mark with a sewing chalk where we want the first strap to be located, we place it and sew then the other part of the armhole, we sew the strap and we are going to tilt both straps together crossing them in the shape of an "X" thus we finish sewing them.

Tell me what you thought about making this type of blouse with your fabric scraps. I really liked it because I can wear this blouse when it's hot when we go to the beach. It would also look very pretty to wear because it has a very tropical style.

With this we come to the end of the process. I would be happy to know that you liked the process and I say goodbye to you wishing you a nice weekend and we will read each other in another upcoming blog, see you soon friends 👋🏻🥰.
