Hello everyone
A warm greetings to you all my beautiful friends, lovers of diy, members of this great community @hivediy and hive at large, i hope you are all doing great, it's so nice to be here today to share with you a simple process of making this phone pouch with handle for my friend.
It is nice to always have a pouch for our phone to prevent it from other objects or items scratching the surface in our bags especially for ladies, my friend had her phone all scratched at the surface, that was so bad and i didn't actually like it, though she had a screen protector on it tgat she easily changes when it becomes worse but i told her a pouch will be nice to prevent her phone so i decided to make this simple pouch for her for her phone using pieces of left over fabric.
Lets get started with the cutting and sewing process
I measured and cut out a rectangle shape of 18 x 5" from the main fabric with interfacing ironed on it and same shape of lining was cut out as well.
I placed the lining on the main fabric right side to right side and i sew at tge down part together, leaving an opening where it can be turned inside out
It was flip the to the right side and on the main fabric, i measured 7" and folded it up while the lining was folded backwards
For the handle, I measured and cut out 10 x 2" from the main fabric which was folded and sewn together on both sides
It was sewn together at the top and on both sides with the handle inserted in one side
For the flip cover, I made a little curve at the top and it was sewn together following the shape of the curve I made.
It was turned inside out through the small opening I left earlier and it was neatly ironed
As simple as this, finally, I will be using my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button to the middle and opposite side of the flip cover to secure the phone in it
I hope you like the simplicity, useful and beautiful outcome of the phone pouch I made for my friend just as I'm sure she will appreciate this.
