Hello everyone
Happy new week to everyone and i hope you are doing great on this beautiful day, the weekend has come and we are back to another new week of greater achievement and i pray that we shall all achieve positive results. Today in my post, i will be sharing with you another simple design of a triangle shape coin i recently made with pieces of fabric.
As you all know, i love to create beautiful and useful items from pieces of fabric that ought to have been thrown away or disposed to trash to make useful item and this is one of it. This a triangle shape coin wallet i made with a small piece of fabric with lining and pressing button to secure the coin in it.
Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process
I measured and cut out 10 x 4" of fabric from those left over pieces, it was used to cut out a lining and interfacing was ironed on the main fabric
On the main fabric, i measured 5cm away from the left and right side
I used a straight to connect the line from one point to another and was cut out just as seen below
I placed the main fabric on the lining and it was sewn together leaving a small opening where it can be turned inside out
The excess were trimmed off and it was turned inside out through the opening after which it was top stitched round
Both short sides were folded together leaving the pointed edges
The point edges were folded backward on each side to locate were the pressing button will be
I used my hand needle and thread to fix pressing button on the appropriate place at the pointed edges and opposite side
This is the final outcome, as simple as this, the pressing button will be used to secure the coins in the wallet
I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of my small triangle shape coin wallet.
