On this lovely day, i will be sharing with you how i made this cute scrunchie hair band with simple step by step process
As a female, we can never be tied or had enough accessories, we always crave for more especially when they are of beautiful designs, we always love to have more and sometimes we get fascinated with the colors when the thought of complementing it with our outfit, in a nut shell, we love accessories so much, that is why i have decided to use my hands and some pieces of fabric to make different accessories for myself, family, friends and people around me. This is the recent scrunchie hair band i made for myself using satin fabric and you can see how beautiful the outcome is.
You can decide to make one for yourself as it is simple, easy and very useful.
Here are the step by step process on how to make this cute scrunchie hair band
The first thing I did was to measure and cut out 2 pieces of 25 x 5" from my satin fabric
It was sewn together and after which the seam line was ironed opened at the middle
It was folded in two with the seam line together and i sew on the side leaving a small opening where it can be turned inside out
I folded one part in while the other was placed together right side to right side and was sewn together round
It was turned to the right side through the small opening and was neatly ironed
I marked 1.5" from the top and the down leaving 0.5" at the middle this was repeated round the main fabric
It was taken to the sewing machine and I sew on both lines round
I measured and cut out an elastic band of 7 x 0.5" and it was inserted in the loop through the small opening and both ends were sewn together after which it was inserted back to the loop
This is the final and beautiful outcome of my cute scrunchie hair band made with satin fabric
I tried it on my hair wig and it's looking so nice, cute and beautiful, i hope you like the beautiful outcome as well.
