Hello everyone
It's another beautiful day and a beautiful moment out here and i hope you are doing great, i bring you all greetings from this part of the world and i wish you all a great day as we begin another journey of a new day. Its a lovely Sunday and i will be sharing with you the step by step process on how i made this beautiful and adorable double color fabric flower made from pieces of fabric scraps.
As a seamstress, i have learnt how to use my fabrics to create beautiful items even to the last piece, in my world of fashion, every piece matters even to the last little piece and I'm so glad i could make this simple and useful piece looking so nice beautiful and adorable.
Recently, I have decided to use these pieces of fabric to make beautiful items and it has been so helpful to me as i can pick any of these items to use as an accessory or applique on dresses, cap, turban or any other thing I decided to use it on and it has been so useful and beautiful on the project i made.
Join me in the simple step by step process of making this double color fabric flower.
From the first piece of fabric, i measured and cut out a 3 pieces of circle shape measuring a diameter of 4" the same was used to cut out 3 pieces of the other color as well and altogether, i have 6 pieces of circle from both fabric
The 6 pieces of fabric that was cut out was folded in two just as seen below
I used my hand needle and thread to run a long stitch on one of the colors at the one end to the other
I picked the other color and run a long stitch on it too just as i did on the first piece
The same process was repeated on the other pieces until the last piece, it was gathered together and was secured at the end
I have my silver applique and gum, brought together to complete my beautiful fabric flower.
Finally, i used the gum to glue the silver applique at the middle of the fabric flower to cover the rough part and to add more design to it to make it look beautiful.
This is the final outcome and i believe you like how beautiful it looks, it can be use for so many things just as you may desire.
