Hello everyone
Happy Sunday and a beautiful day to you all in yhis great community @hivediy i hope you are all doing great just as i am, it's a beautiful Sunday out here with lots of fun with family and friends. it is my pleasure to share with you today tutorial on how i made a little triangle shape coin pouch with zipper and handle using fabric scraps
Some of us have coin we go around with for the exchange of goods and services, this has to be kept and secure in a small pouch for easy access and for this , i have decided to made this small pouch in a triangle shape just to make it look unique and stylish.
join me in the cutting and sewing process of this little pouch
From the pieces of fabric I have, i cut out 2 pieces of fabric measuring 6 x 6" with lining and interfacing ironed on the main fabric.
I placed a zipper on the main fabric with the zipper head facing down and lining was placed on the zipper while I sew on it at the top and the other side as well before it was top stitched on both sides
It was placed together on the wrong side and i sew on the base together on a straight line
Then i placed the zipper to the seam line and it was sewn together as well
For the handle, i cut out a rectangle shape measuring 2 x 8" it was folded to the middle on both sides and folded again before it was sewn together on both sides
I folded the other side with the zipper head to the middle and it was sewn together with the handle sewn to it as well.
It was finally turned to the right side through the zipper opening and i have a beautiful outcome.
You can see how beautiful the outcome is with a triangle shape, with this, your coins will be kept safe and accessible as well. I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome.
