Although I may not be very good at crafts, every once in a while I do one or two to exercise my creativity a little bit. This Christmas I wanted to completely change the decoration of my home so leaving the traditional colors like red and green aside, I focused on the desired tones which were gold and rosewood.
Although I had the opportunity to buy decorations and others thank God, I also wanted to give a second chance to the decorations that I was sure were going to work very well as was the case of the centerpiece that although I disassembled it completely to assemble it to my liking, its base made things much easier for me, so well. Here I will tell you a little of how I did it.
The first thing I did was as I mentioned before, disassemble it completely, remove all the red and gold decoration that I had and then clean it well and proceed to cover it with the help of a garland and hot silicone. Once I saw it was well covered I proceeded to play a little with creativity, I glued some small spheres that I had in gold color and then I decided to put some flowers in the rosewood tone, to finish I gave some small touches with some sticks that I removed from a silver and golden spikes.
I must admit that although it may look a little simple to make, I was quite stressed because I did not know where to start or how to arrange the ornaments I wanted to put, even one of the candles broke and I had to go out to buy it to replace it, but well, in the end I liked the result quite a lot. Aunque el tema de las manualidades quizá no se me da muy bien, de vez en cuando me animo a realizar una que otra para ejercer un poquito la creatividad. Está navidad quise cambiar por completo la decoración de mi hogar por lo que dejando los colores tradicionales como rojo y verde a un lado, me centre en los tonos deseados los cuales eran dorado y palo de rosa.
Aunque tuve la oportunidad de comprar decoraciones y demás gracias a Dios, también quise darle una segunda oportunidad a los adornos que estaba segura me iban a funcionar muy bien como fue el caso del centro de mesa que aunque lo desarme por completo para poder armarlo a mi gusto, su base me facilito mucho las cosas, así que bueno. Por aquí les contaré un poco de como lo hice.
Lo primero que hice fue como mencioné antes, desarmarlo por completo, quitarle toda la decoración roja y dorada que tenía para luego limpiarlo bien y proceder a cubrirlo con ayuda de una guirnalda y silicona caliente. Una vez que ví estaba bien cubierto procedí a jugar un poco con la creatividad, le pegue algunas esferas pequeñas que tenía en color dorado y luego decidí ponerle unas flores en el tono palo de rosa, para finalizar le di algunos toques pequeños con unos palitos que le quite a una espigas plateadas y doradas.
Debo admitir que aunque quizá se ve un poco sencillo de realizar me estrese bastante ya que no sabía por dónde empezar o como acomodar los adornos que quería ponerle, incluso una de las velas se me partió y tuve que salir a comprarla para reponerla, pero bueno, al final el resultado me gustó bastante.
