Reciclando ando 🎨 Recycling

    ¡¡Y como esta mi gente linda, mi gente bella!! hoy es lunes y mi cuerpo quiere comenzar la semana con ánimo, así que ya hice varias cosas que tenía pendientes, puse mi casa en orden y ahora a escribir. Hoy vengo toda creída y pretenciosa, porque tengo porta llavero nuevo, no solo eso sino que está hecho por mí y ahora va a decorar un espacio de mi casa, lo va a poner un toque gracioso y estoy segura que a todo el que llegue le va a gustar.

    Este porta llavero está hecho con material reciclado, por ejemplo esta tabla la saqué o mejor dicho la rescaté de la basura; recuerdo que hace años iba bajando por una calle en San Bernardino, Caracas y cuando miré hacia un montón de chécheres viejos que estaban acumulados en una casa, se asomó esta pequeña tabla que tenía hechos esos huecos, la tomé y la traje conmigo a casa; ahí mi hijo había hecho una tarea de la escuela pero ahora la volví a tomar e hice esta manualidad.

Today I come all cocky and pretentious, because I have a new key holder, not only that but it is made by me and now it will decorate a space in my house, it will give it a funny touch and I am sure that everyone who comes will like it.

This key holder is made with recycled material, for example this board I took it out or rather I rescued it from the trash; I remember years ago I was walking down a street in San Bernardino, Caracas and when I looked at a pile of old sherds that were accumulated in a house, this small board that had those holes made, I took it and brought it home with me; there my son had done a school assignment but now I took it again and made this craft.

    Las piedras y el palo también los recogí en un viaje que hice a la playa, es un hábito que tengo de tomarme un rato cuando voy a la playa y caminar por la orilla mientras voy recogiendo cualquier piedra, tabla, caracol o concha de mar. En la orilla de la playa puedes conseguir cosas hermosas y darles una segunda oportunidad.

The stones and the stick I also picked up on a trip I took to the beach, it's a habit I have of taking some time when I go to the beach and walking along the shore while I'm picking up any stone, board, snail or seashell. On the beach shore you can get beautiful things and give them a second chance.

Manos a la obra: 💞 Hands to the work

    Lo primero que hice fue lavar muy bien la tabla y la dejé secar, luego la lijé para que quedara una superficie lisa, la pinté con pinturas al frio , coloqué primero blanco y luego un poquito de azul claro. Yo no quería esconder totalmente la madera, por eso la dejé así con un tono muy suave.

The first thing I did was to wash the board very well and let it dry, then I sanded it to get a smooth surface, I painted it with cold paints , I placed first white and then a little bit of light blue. I didn't want to hide the wood completely, so I left it that way with a very soft tone.

    Pinté las piedras de color blanco y las pegué con silicón a la tabla, dibujé con un lápiz los ojos y la nariz y pinté. Por ultimo le coloqué los ganchos para colgar las llaves y la cabuya para colgar. Si tienes barniz puedes pintar el palo sino lo puedes dejar al natural que también se verá muy bien.

I painted the stones white and glued them with silicone to the board, drew with a pencil the eyes and nose and painted. Finally I put the hooks to hang the keys and the hanging rope. If you have varnish you can paint the stick but if not you can leave it natural that will also look great.
