Hello to my dear Hivers and the dear community of artists #HiveDIY, as always very pleased and excited to be here again, showing you my work made with love and especially for you.
Today I bring you a new project for all you gaming fans. I made the logo for the video game Borderlands as a decorative pendant using the quilling technique. It looks like a simple project, but you have to be very careful and take your time to make sure the pieces fit together properly.
This is a new creation I made on my daughter's recommendation. I have a few more in the pipeline to share with all of you.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #HiveDIY, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.
Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo para todos aquellos fanáticos gamers, realicé el logo de El vídeojuego Borderlands, como un colgante decorativo en la técnica de quilling, fue un trabajo que se ve algo sencillo de realizar, pero hay que tener un cuidado especial y tiempo para llevar a cabo las piezas y que encajen bien.
Este es una nueva creación que realicé por recomendación de mi hija, tengo algunos más en cola por hacer, par compartir con todos ustedes.
Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Mandril para realizar círculos y triángulos.
• Pintura al frio blanca y roja.
• Argollas de bisutería.
• Perlas de madera.
• Hilo piel de serpiente fina negra.
• Tapa nudos.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
- Ribbons for quilling.
- Quilling needle.
- Mandrel for making circles and triangles
- White and red cold paint.
- Jewelry rings.
- Wooden beads.
- Fine black snakeskin thread.
- Knot cover.
- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).
- Brush.
• To begin, I took 3 mm wide quilling tape and wound it around a mandrel to make circles in size 8 from top to bottom. I wound all the tape and sealed it with extra-strong white glue.
• Before removing it from the mandrel, I decided to apply several layers of extra-strong white glue to make the ring stronger. This will be the central base of the pendant. I let it dry thoroughly.
• Para comenzar tomé cinta para quilling de 3 mm de ancho y enrolle en un mandril para realizar círculos en la medida número 8 de arriba hacia abajo, enrollé toda la cinta selle con pega blanca extra fuerte.
• Antes de sacar del mandril decidi aplicarle varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte para darle resistencia al aro, este va a ser la base central del dije, deje secar muy bien.

• Using the same parameters as before, take a 3 mm wide red ribbon. This time, I used a mandrel to make triangles and wrapped the ribbon around the number 4 from top to bottom, sealing it with extra-strong white glue. I also applied several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry thoroughly before applying the next.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores tome cinta de color roja de 3 mm de ancho, esta vez tomé un mandril para realizar triángulos y enrolle la cinta en la medida número 4 de arriba hacia abajo, sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte. También procedí aplicar varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte dejándose cargue entre una y otra muy bien.

• Once the triangle was dry, I cut the bottom part with scissors and attached it to the ring I had made earlier with extra-strong white glue. I let the glue dry thoroughly and applied several coats to the pendant once it was attached.
• I made a pendant with some wooden beads that I painted red, using snakeskin thread and knots to secure them. I attached a jewelry ring to the top of the charm.
This is how I finished this Borderlands video game logo using the quilling technique.
• Una vez seco el triángulo procedí a cortar la parte de abajo con una tijera, esta pieza la incorpore con pega blanca extra fuerte al aro que hice con anterioridad, dejé de secar muy bien la pega, y aplique varias capas de la misma al dije ya unido.
• Realice un colgante con algunas perlas de madera las cuales pinte de color rojo, con hilo piel de serpiente, su respectivo tapa nudos, y al dije le coloque una argolla de bisutería en la parte de arriba.
De esta manera finalice este Logo del videojuego Borderlands, en la técnica de técnica de quilling.
