Hello, friends!
Today i would like to share what i made near chinese new year. Even mom and i didn't celebrate it specially but i still want to make cute thing so i tried to make this cute tiger paper lantern.
Project Time : 3 hours
Difficulty : medium
Materials & Things Needed:
- Mont Marte construction paper pad, i used the yellow color
- an envelope to measure the color paper i used
- a ruler
- a pencil
- scissors
- 0.6 cm double sided tape
- a cutter
- origami paper in black and pink
- a circle shape thing
- a compass
- a glue stick
- a drawing paper
- a white paper
- a black marker
- multi purpose adhesive glue
How i made it:
1st
I measure the yellow colour paper, with the envelope i had. Then i cut it off.
2nd
Then i pasted the double sided tape on both longer sides like below. Then i measured the width between both double sided tape then i drew lines on other yellow paper, after that i cut it off too. Then i divided it into 0.5 cm width like below.
3rd
After that, i used the cutter to cut it to make the fringe like below. Then i pasted it on the smaller yellow paper.
4th
I then cut off one of the fringe and put the double sided tape there and roll. Now i got the basic yellow paper lantern.
5th
Next, i made some other yellow circles. 4 of it. Made 2 smaller pink circles with the compass. Trimmed some of the pink like below.
6th
I pasted the pink on the yellow circle. Pasted them on other yellow circle. Then, i folded some and pasted them as the tiger's ears.
7th
I then drew the B for the mouth part of the tiger with the drawing paper. Cut a black heart for the nose and pasted on it.
8th
I cut the two pink small circles for the cheeks. Then i drew the two eyes with black marker on white paper then color them. Pasted them on the lantern.
9th
Cut the patterns for the tiger with the black origami like below. Pasted them with the multi purpose adhesive glue. This as the pattern on the top of the head.
10th
After that, i made some pattern for the cheeks like below. At the back i added the double sided tape and pasted them on the lantern. And the tiger paper lantern is now finished!
Look, isn't it cute?
