Hello Hive friends, I hope you are doing well. Today I bring you a very curious anecdote that happened to me during one of my Twitch Streaming.
Muy buen día amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo una anécdota muy curiosa que me ocurrió durante uno de mis Streaming en Twitch.
✨ Sometimes opportunities come when you least expect them.
✨ A veces las oportunidades llegan cuando menos lo esperas.
🇺🇸 During one of my Twitch streams, while chatting with viewers about random stuffs, the topic of web design came up. I mentioned that I had studied HTML, CSS and web development on an Alura Latam scholarship, someone in the chat asked me if I could do illustrations for a website he was creating.
That person turned out to be David, who told me he was putting together a website as a birthday invitation for his kids, with a safari and jungle theme. 🌴🌴
🇪🇸 Durante uno de mis streams en Twitch, mientras charlaba con los viewers de todo un poco, surgió el tema del diseño web. Mencioné que había estudiado HTML, CSS y desarrollo web en una beca de Alura Latam, alguien en el chat me preguntó si podía hacer ilustraciones para una web que estaba creando.
Esa persona resultó ser David, quien me contó que estaba armando una página web a modo de invitación de cumpleaños para sus hijos, con temática de safari y selva. 🌴🌴
David initially did the work with AI-delivered images, but one thing I noticed is that the AI is not very good at delivering very specific customizable things, nor drawing hands! there were a lot of technical details to consider to create these illustrations that the AI couldn't quite cover.
David en un inicio hizo el trabajo con imagenes otorgadas por IA, pero algo que he notado es que la IA no es muy buena para ofrecer cosas personalizables muy especificas, ni dibujar manos! habian muchos detalles técnicos a considerar para crear estas ilustraciones que la IA no podia cubrir del todo.
So, we started a collaboration to create completely customized illustrations for her. I used her children as a reference and designed all the elements properly separated so that they could be adapted to the page: the background, the trees, the clouds, the vehicle, the characters.
Así que entablamos una colaboración para crearle unas ilustraciones completamente personalizadas. Usé como referencia a sus hijos y diseñé todos los elementos separados debidamente para que puedan ser adaptados a la página: el fondo, los árboles, las nubes, el vehículo, los personajes.

I tried to take into consideration all the details, the clothes, the bags, the wheels, the toucan on the antenna with the little flags. even the color choose was intentional.
Intenté toman en cuenta todos los detalles, la ropa, las maletas, las ruedas, el tucán en la antena con las banderitas. incluso la elección del color fue intencional.
After several streams, sketching and painting. To see how everything took shape and that the result has been so well received, fills me with joy. 🌟

My process on all the images use to be the same. First, the sketch, then clean to make the lines, flat colors, for this one, I decide to go with a friendly happy pallete and I got inspired by Pokémon with the safari some sprite. then shadows, which I use purple, and then as a final touch, I change the color of the lines to make it more softly!
Mi proceso en todas las imagenes suele ser el mismo, primero boceto, a continuación, limpiar para hacer las líneas, colores planos, para éste fondo, me decidi a ir con una paleta de colores amistosa y me inspiré en la zona safari de Pokémon. A continuación, sombras, que yo suelo usar púrpura, y luego, como toque final, ¡cambio el color de las líneas para que sea más suave!
David then made some changes to adapt it better to his animation, in the final composition it can be better understood.
David despues le hizo unos cambios para adaptarlo mejor a su animacion, en la composición final se puede entender mejor.
