Saludos hivers lectores. Complacida de estar en esta comunidad para presentarles una ilustración digital que inicie hace unas semanas luego de observar la idea del Starter Pack ilustrado de la amiga @yetsimar que hace referencia al valor de todas las personas que de alguna forma nos mantenemos horas pegados al computador creando ilustraciones. Ciertamente, en las diferentes redes sociales, especialmente en IG, hay una cantidad considerable de estos paquetes de inicio creados por AI.
Greetings, dear readers. Pleased to be in this community to present you a digital illustration that I started a few weeks ago after observing the idea of the Starter Pack illustrated by friend @yetsimar that makes reference to the value of all the people who somehow keep us hours glued to the computer creating illustrations. Certainly, in the different social networks, especially on IG, there are a considerable amount of these starter packs created by AI.
Muchas inquietudes manifestadas por parte de la comunidad de ilustradores de todas partes del mundo, lo que ha generado la iniciativa de crear estos juguetes sin la necesidad de inteligencia artificial. Por mi parte respeto los gustos de cada quien, más bien pienso que es una moda alienada, como cualquier otra, por lo que decidí crear mi propia versión de lo que es mi caja de juguete, representando todo lo que es mi cotidianidad en un solo estuche.
Many concerns expressed by the community of illustrators from all over the world, which has generated the initiative to create these toys without the need for artificial intelligence. I respect everyone's tastes, but I think it is an alienated fashion, like any other, so I decided to create my own version of what my toy box is, representing everything that is my daily life in a single case.
Pasos Ilustrativos/Illustrative Steps
Para iniciar, abrí una hoja en blanco en el programa vector Inkscape y me dispuse a crear primeramente la versión de mi personaje, mostrando una chica de contextura gruesa, melena rizada larga, con una vestimenta bastante cómoda que es con lo que normalmente ando, jeans, franela y zapatos deportivos.
To start, I opened a blank page in the vector program Inkscape and set out to create first the version of my character, showing a girl with a thick build, long curly hair, with a fairly comfortable outfit, which is what I usually wear, jeans, flannel and sneakers.
Aparte de ello, en la primera división ilustre el estuche de mis lentes de contacto que es algo infaltable para mí y siempre lo tengo a la mano, también están mis anteojos de lectura que como saben quienes leen mis escritos, aparte de mis lentes de contacto también debo usar anteojos para leer y por último mis lentes de sol que protegen mi retina de los rayos solares. En el siguiente espacio ilustré mi laptop donde ocupo gran parte de mi tiempo trabajando, al igual que mi celular y mi fiel compañera, la taza de café. Para culminar, en el último espacio, dibujé mis hilos de crochet con la aguja, un cuaderno y un bolígrafo, ya que a menudo realizo mis amigurumis y en mi cuaderno voy haciendo las anotaciones para crear tutoriales.
Apart from that, in the first division I illustrated the case of my contact lenses which is a must for me and I always have it at hand, there are also my reading glasses that as those who read my writings know, apart from my contact lenses I also have to use reading glasses and finally my sunglasses that protect my retina from the sun's rays. In the next space I illustrated my laptop where I spend most of my time working, as well as my cell phone and my faithful companion, the cup of coffee. To finish, in the last space, I drew my crochet threads with the needle, a notebook and a pen, since I often make my amigurumis and in my notebook I make notes to create tutorials.
Así fue como realicé el boceto gracias a las herramientas: pluma, seleccionador, nodo de trayectos y rectángulo.
This is how I made the sketch thanks to the tools: pen, selector, path node and rectangle.
Con la herramienta cubo de pintura comencé a elegir los colores y tonos para rellenar y así darle vida a mi dibujo, mi infaltable franela de color negro que me encanta y así como esa tengo varios iguales que los jeans; además de ello también aproveche para crear los hilos en las roturas del jeans, esto lo hice pasando líneas de color blanco por dentro y por fuera para crear las hilachas de los hilos.
With the paint bucket tool I began to choose the colors and tones to fill in and thus give life to my drawing, my inevitable black flannel that I love and like that I have several of the same color as the jeans; besides that I also took the opportunity to create the threads in the breaks of the jeans, I did this by passing lines of white inside and outside to create the threads of the threads.
En esta parte mejore todo el diseño aplicando filtros que acercan el dibujo a la realidad, como por ejemplo todo lo que es la piel le aplique terciopelo para darle un toque más sutil, el pantalón, tiene un bisel mate, los lentes por su parte tienen una iluminación combinada que les genera brillo en los cristales; y así cada pieza tiene un filtro que la hace especial.
In this part I improved the whole design by applying filters that bring the drawing closer to reality, for example, I applied velvet to the skin to give it a more subtle touch, the pants have a matte bevel, the glasses have a combined illumination that generates brightness in the crystals; and so each piece has a filter that makes it special.
Para finalizar la versión de mi juguete, lo que hice fue usar la herramienta texto para escribir las letras y números. Para el código de barra usé la herramienta rectángulo y la pluma; a última hora decidí realzar los bordes de cada división para que su delineado quede perfecto.
To finalize the version of my toy, what I did was to use the text tool to write the letters and numbers. For the barcode I used the rectangle tool and the pen; at the last minute I decided to highlight the edges of each division so that its outline would be perfect.
Espero que así como yo, se sumen más artistas a esta bonita idea, que aunque no es iniciativa, pues; deja ver lo valioso que es el trabajo de un ilustrador y lo bien que puede quedar una creación llena de creatividad y con un toque muy personal.
I hope that like me, more artists will join this beautiful idea, which although it is not an initiative, it shows how valuable the work of an illustrator is and how good a creation full of creativity and with a very personal touch can be.
