Last week was not so bad, i am believing God that this week will be great.
I am here to share with you all the Sunday dress i made for a friend
She had reached out to me earlier that she needed a Sunday dress to wear to church,i was really expecting her to bring a new fabric for it.
But few weeks ago she called that i should used her old fabric for the gown.
Initially the fabric was kept to be use for a trouser for her.
But she later changed her mind concerning it and told me that i should use the fabric for a gown which i did.
Here are the materials i used for the dress.
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Two types of fabric
The first step i took was to cut out the down part of the dress,i had measured her half length,full length,hips and the waist.
And for the back side of it i also put the zip allowance.
While for the top i needed a pattern paper for it, because of the style she choosed,for her measurements i took her shoulder measurements, half-length, and under burst.
I cut out the front part of the top,the back side with zip allowance and i used a pattern paper to craft out the design before cutting it out on the fabric.
After all these,i also created a flare design for the half-length and i sewed everything through including the zip design.
Finally i was through and her dress was ready.
