Popsicle sticks have quite a lot of use cases that we can be seeing them involved in. In today's case we are going to implement them into making a beautiful lamp that would surely make your study table, ceiling, showcase or wherever you put it more cute and majestic for sure.
WHAT You Need
- ICE CREAM STICKS
- HOT GLUE GUN
- LIGHT FIXTURE
- ELECTRIC BULB
- FEVICOL
- PLASTIC COATED WIRES
As you've got all you need, you can get started !
- To start with, your need to arrange the ice-cream sticks in an hexgonal formation and to do that get sticks on top of each other quite like this and to keep them in place use the hot glue gun or fevicol.
- Once you've achieved the hexagonal shape at the bottom, all you need to do is just repeat the same step and build on top of that and make that structure rise in height by putting more sticks into the mix.
- Now that you've reached a certain height depending on the size of lamp you want to craft, you need to stop building on top of the same halve.
- After you've got the first halve ready you just need to repeat the same steps in order to make the other halve as well. The same hexagonal shape structure is needed.
- Make sure to close the base of one of the halves and keep the other one wide open in order to allow the light fixture to be put in.
- Use the hot glue gun in order to properly stick both the halves together.
- Keep the whole structure aside and let it settle for a couple of hours in order to ensure it gets together quite well, making it an overall strong structure.
- In the mean while you can get the light fixture ready with attaching the wires and the bulb in the socket.
- Make sure to use the hot glue gun as well to the light fixture to keep that in place with the structure properly.
- Once all the adhesive dries and solidifies your lamp is all set to go. Plug the wires in and turn it on and let it glow.
- Do make sure to pick the best background as well as the color of lighting you use, which would look the most majestic for your lamp.
