Siempre me han gustado esos platos de colección que colocan en bases para que sean exhibidos en posición vertical, de este mismo modo exponen discos de madera, de piedra natural con esas formas planas, de piedras cortadas, etc. El Diy de hoy está inspirado en ese tipo de elementos. El mío lo realicé con cartón y lo decoré con mucha, escarcha, y me encantó el resultado, ya que el resultado final armoniza con mi sala y además destaca bastante bien. Tomamos una pieza de cartón y con el compás trazamos un círculo de 26cms de diámetro y luego lo recortamos. Este será el frente de nuestro adorno y hacemos otro igual para la parte posterior.
Vamos a trabajar con el círculo que será la parte el frente del diseño. Con el compás vamos a trazar varios círculos dejando distancias de 1cms aproximadamente.
Ahora vamos a formar el diseño en relieve de nuestro adorno, lo haremos con el bordeador líquido, haciendo líneas cortas y puntos por todos los círculos que dibujamos en el paso anterior. Dejamos secar muy bien, al sol preferiblemente. El tiempo de secado depende de las instrucciones del producto que utilices.
Cortamos unas tiras de cartón de 1,5cms para hacer el ancho del círculo. Recortamos las tiras y las pegamos al círculo del frente con silicón caliente.
Ahora uniremos los dos círculos. Para ello cortamos pedacitos de cartón, los doblamos, y los pegamos un lado hacia el borde del ancho y cuando hagamos varios alrededor de todo el círculo, pegamos al segundo círculo, todo lo pegamos con silicón caliente.
Para hacer la base cortamos cuatro rectángulos que midan 5cms por 9cms. Los pegamos con silicón caliente. Igualmenter, hacemos un cuadrado de cartón de 5cms por 5cms, y lo pegamos arriba. Luego, en la parte superior metemos el clavo grande y fijamos con silicón caliente. Y luego, metemos en la estructura de arriba y fijamos nuevamente con silicón caliente.
Pintamos con pintura al frío blanca el adorno de arriba por ambas caras y alrededor. También pintamos la base. Preferiblemente 2 capas de pintura. Dejamos secar bien.
Damos una mano de pega blanca a la parte superior frontal, y pegamos la escarcha, esparciéndola desde arriba como si fuera lluvia. Dejamos secar y repetimos la pega y la escarcha, asegurándonos que no queden espacios sin escarcha. Dejamos secar muy bien.
Listo, ya está listo nuestro Adorno o Elemento Decorativo. Traté de tomar las mejores fotos, pero de verdad que ninguna le hace justicia, ya que en persona, en físico de demasiado bello y no logré captar eso en las fotos, dado que no se aprecia bien como brilla la escarcha. Pero, les digo que de verdad quedó hermoso y luce demasiado bien en mi sala.

We take a piece of cardboard and with the compass we draw a circle of 26cms in diameter and then we cut it out. This will be the front of our ornament and we make another one just like it for the back.
We are going to work with the circle that will be the front part of the design. With the compass we are going to draw several circles leaving distances of approximately 1cm.
Now we are going to form the raised design of our ornament, we will do it with the liquid edger, making short lines and dots through all the circles that we drew in the previous step. Let dry very well, preferably in the sun. The drying time depends on the instructions of the product you use.
We cut some 1.5cm strips of cardboard to make the width of the circle. Cut the strips and glue them to the front circle with hot silicone.
Now we will join the two circles. To do this we cut pieces of cardboard, fold them, and glue one side towards the edge of the width and when we make several around the entire circle, we glue the second circle, we glue everything with hot silicone.
To make the base we cut four rectangles that measure 5cms by 9cms. We stick them with hot silicone. Likewise, we make a 5cm by 5cm square of cardboard, and glue it on top. Then, in the upper part, we put the big nail and fix it with hot silicone. And then, we put in the structure above and fix again with hot silicone.
We paint the top ornament on both sides and around it with white cold paint. We also painted the base. Preferably 2 coats of paint. Let dry well.
We apply a coat of white glue to the upper front part, and glue the frost, spreading it from above as if it were rain. Let dry and repeat the glue and frosting, making sure that there are no spaces without frosting. Let dry very well.
Ready, our Ornament or Decorative Element is ready. I tried to take the best photos, but really none of them do it justice, since in person, physically it is too beautiful and I could not capture that in the photos, since it is not well appreciated how the frost shines. But, I tell you that it was really beautiful and it looks too good in my living room.
