Mis hijas siempre que van al cine se llevan su chaquetas o suéteres en las manos para usarlos en la propia sala donde siempre hace muchísimo frío, y luego de eso si van a comer o a caminar un rato, termina siendo muy molesto cargarlos en las manos.
Así que estuve pensando y pensando cómo hacer un sujetador, algo que se pudiese colocar con un gancho tipo "mosquetón" al bolso o cartera, y que con la mecánica de un cierre que se pueda abrir/cerrar se pueda introducir el suéter y ajustar bien para que no se caiga y se pueda cargar cómodamente ahí sujeto. Este es mi Diy de hoy... Bienvenidos.
Whenever my daughters go to the movies, they carry their jackets or sweaters in their hands to wear in the theater itself, where it's always freezing cold. Afterward, if they go out to eat or take a walk, it ends up being really annoying to carry them in their hands.
So I was thinking and thinking about how to make a holder, something that could be attached to a bag or purse with a carabiner-type hook, and that, with the mechanics of an open/close closure, could be used to insert the sweater and tighten it tightly so it doesn't fall off and can be comfortably carried. This is my DIY today... Welcome.

Quise trabajar este "Sujetador" con semicuero de color negro, pero realmente se puede realizar en cualquier género de tela, sin embargo para este primer prototipo de "Sujetador" quise comenzar con este material ya que me parece bastante neutral para las carteras o bolsos negros que son las más tenemos.
Corté una gira de 40cms por 10cms, y también corté el cierre con esa medida de largo de 40cms, el cierre lo separé ya que solo voy a necesitar uno de sus lados, ya verás de que se trata.
La tira la voy a preparar como lo hacemos con las cintas de sesgo, primero encuentro los extremos en el centro, y así a todo lo largo de la tira.
I wanted to work this "Bra" with black faux leather, but it can really be made with any type of fabric. However, for this first "Bra" prototype, I wanted to start with this material because it seems quite neutral for the black purses or bags we have most often.
I cut a 40cm by 10cm hem, and I also cut the zipper to that 40cm length. I separated the zipper since I'll only need one of its sides; you'll see what that's all about.
I'm going to prepare the strip as we do with bias tape. First, I find the ends in the center, and do the same along the entire length of the strip.

Luego, vuelvo a doblar hacia el centro tal cual como son las cintas de sesgo. Aseguro todo con clips de presión para no marcar con alfileres este material.
Ahora, la pieza única del cierre lo voy introduciendo en la pieza de semicuero, y voy asegurando con los mismos clips de presión. Voy a la máquina de coser y paso una costura recta.
Then, I fold it back toward the center, just like the bias tapes. I secure everything with snap clips to avoid pin marks.
Now, I insert the single piece of the closure into the faux leather piece and secure it with the same snap clips. I go to the sewing machine and sew a straight stitch.

Así luce la tira con el cierre cosido. Lo doblo por la mitad e introduzco el deslizador del cierre, tomando como verás en la imagen, es por esta razón que solo utilicé un lado del cierre, porque al doblar la tira ya iba a disponer de dos puntas para introducir el deslizador, hasta abajo como puedes observar.
This is what the strip looks like with the zipper sewn on. I fold it in half and insert the zipper slider, as you can see in the image. This is why I only used one side of the zipper, because by folding the strip, I would have two points to insert the slider, all the way down, as you can see.

La parte de los extremos la limpio o emparejo y paso una costura recta, para asegurar y tener esta pieza bien prolija para seguir trabajando.
Ahora con un cuadrado de la tela estampada la coloco derecho con derecho con la pieza del cierre, envolviendo y doblando un poco los bordes.
I clean or even out the ends and sew a straight stitch to secure and keep this piece neat for further work.
Now, using a square of the patterned fabric, I place it right sides together with the closure piece, wrapping and folding the edges slightly.

Paso Costura en este borde, y ahora subo mi tela y puedes ver que toda la costura queda guardada. Este trabajo es de calidad, ya que no se van a ver remates internos.
I sew along this edge, and now I'm uploading my fabric. You can see that the entire seam is saved. This is quality work, as no internal seam allowances will be visible.

Paso una costura recta por el centro de la tela estampada para un mejor acabado. Ahora introduzco el gancho estilo mosquetón, el cual elegí de este tipo ya que se puede ubicar en la cartera, bolso o morral que se quiera utilizar y cambiar a otra si así lo deseaos, es decir que no debo dejarlo fijo en un lugar, pero también porque es muy fuerte y puede aguantar el peso del bolso.
Entonces, como ya les dije introduje el gancho, doblé la tela para luego cerrar.
I sew a straight seam down the center of the printed fabric for a better finish. Now I insert the carabiner-style hook, which I chose this type because it can be attached to the purse, bag, or backpack you want to use and then moved to another if desired. This means I don't have to leave it fixed in one place, but also because it's very strong and can hold the weight of the bag.
Then, as I mentioned, I inserted the hook, folded the fabric, and then closed it.

Por el lado de atrás paso costura recta y así el gancho quedará bastante seguro en este lado del "Sujetador"

Así queda listo el "Sujetador de Suéter" como pueden ver en un extremo queda el gancho mosquetón que aseguro en el bolso o cartera, y el cierre lo abro para introducir el suéter o chaqueta, luego se cierra un poco para que el suéter o chaqueta quede bien ajustado.
This is how the "Sweater Holder" is ready. As you can see, at one end there is a carabiner hook that I secure to my bag or purse, and I open the closure to insert the sweater or jacket. Then it is closed a little so that the sweater or jacket fits snugly.

Aquí puedes observar el gancho mosquetón dentro de un asa del bolso, y un suéter rosado bien ajustado con este nuevo accesorio utilitario, ideal para darnos comodidad, seguridad y además se ve muy bien a juego o en combinación con el bolso.
