Saludos para todos los Hivers creativos de esta gran comunidad de Hive Diy, por fin hoy he decidido restaurar un organizador de madera que recibí de regalo de parte de una amiga de la infancia que ya no está en el país, estás cajitas organizadoras fueron muy populares, se compraban al natural, traían un muñequito y algún detalle podía ser un perrito o un oso, la mía venía con una muñequita con un gran sombrero, que por cierto se despegó y al momento de comenzar mi restauración no la encontré, seguramente alguno de los lectores venezolanos habrán visto alguna de estas cajas. Estas cajas te permitían pintar y decorar a tu gusto, eso hizo mi amiga pinto la caja y la muñeca. Me sorprendí gratamente cuando al momento de lijar vi la dedicatoria es del año 2001, mi Dios el tiempo es tan efímero, pero sin embargo nos deja bellos recuerdos, y a nuestro lado aquellas personas que nos quieren y apoyan, por este motivo la temática de esta restauración es con el color blanco y bellas flores, para evocar la estabilidad, la alegría y el agradecimiento.

Greetings to all the creative Hivers of this great Hive Diy community, finally today I decided to restore a wooden organizer that I received as a gift from a childhood friend who is no longer in the country, these little organizer boxes were very popular, they were bought in their natural state, mine came with a little doll with a big hat, which by the way came unstuck and when I started my restoration I could not find it, surely some of the Venezuelan readers have seen some of these boxes. These boxes allowed you to paint and decorate to your liking, that's what my friend did, she painted the box and the doll. I was pleasantly surprised when at the moment of sanding I saw the dedication, it is from the year 2001, my God time is so ephemeral, but nevertheless it leaves us beautiful memories, and by our side those people who love us and support us, for this reason the theme of this restoration is with the color white and beautiful flowers, to evoke stability, joy and gratitude.

Materiales / Materials

• Caja de madera.
• Pintura de color blanco, negro y amarillo.
• Pincel
• Cartulina de colores, rosado, violeta y verde.
• Foami blanco y marrón
• Flores doradas de bisutería.
• Pistola y barra de silicon.
• Lija 100
• Cepillo de dientes viejo.

• Wooden box.
• White, black and yellow paint.
• Brush
• Color cardboard, pink, purple and green.
• White and brown Foami
• Golden flowers of costume jewelry.
• Silicone gun and stick.
• Sandpaper 100
• Old toothbrush.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

El primer paso fue remover la pintura azul de la caja, y restos de pegamento, para ello use una lija número 100, eliminé tanto como me fue posible, luego pinte de blanco en dos oportunidades para lograr uniformidad.

The first step was to remove the blue paint from the box, and glue residues, for this I used a 100 grit sandpaper, I removed as much as possible, then I painted white twice to achieve uniformity.

Al secar la caja, quise darle un matiz muy suave al color blanco, para ello tome un cepillo de dientes y humedeciendo sus cerdas con pintura de color amarillo y retire el exceso para luego salpicar la caja por sus cuatro lados, y posteriormente el mismo procedimiento con el color negro.

When the box was dry, I wanted to give a very soft shade to the white color, for this I took a toothbrush and wet its bristles with colored paint and remove the excess and then splashed the box on all four sides, and then the same procedure with the black color.

El siguiente paso fue elaborar las plantillas de las flores y las hojas las cuales transferí a los colores de las cartulinas correspondientes, recorte y doble cada petalo a la mitad y procedo a ensamblar dos flores, una rosado con violeta de pétalos grandes y otra pequeña en tono pastel.

The next step was to make the templates of the flowers and leaves which I transferred to the corresponding cardboard colors, cut and fold each petal in half and proceeded to assemble two flowers, one pink with violet with large petals and another small one in pastel tones.

Llega el momento de ubicar las flores y hojas que cambiarán y darán nueva vida a este organizador de madera, coloco primero los tallos, luego las flores y por último las hojas y césped, organizando todos estos elementos de manera armónica y que destaquen sobre el blanco matizado. Para finalizar coloque dos flores de bisutería dorada pequeñas en las esquinas descubiertas.

It is time to place the flowers and leaves that will change and give new life to this wooden organizer, I place first the stems, then the flowers and finally the leaves and grass, organizing all these elements in a harmonious way and highlighting them on the white color. To finish, place two small gold jewelry flowers in the uncovered corners.

El resultado quedó mejor de lo que había imaginado, los colores y las flores darán nueva vida a este organizador, veremos después cuantos años más para renovarlo.
