A beautiful moment on the afternoon grass A story of a dragonfly
Going out for a walk in the afternoon to get some relief from the monotony daily life has now become my daily habit. That day too was an ordinary afternoon, light clouds in the sky, birds chirping all around environment was filled with the green cover trees. While walking along a familiar path in the village, my eyes suddenly caught sight a small creature sitting on grass. Seeing that small dragonfly sitting on grass, it was if time stopped for an instant.
A strange peace spread over its body. I stared fascination. The beauty of this creature was perfect and captivating that it was difficult take my eyes off it.
At first I was a little scared it moved would fly away! But no was completely still.As if resting in lap nature. Fortunately, she didnt move at all if she understood that I wanted to capture her beauty.
This little dragonfly is not just an insect, but a living work art in nature. There was a delicate design on each its wings, a precise line arrangement on its body, and a kind mystery in its eyes. I stared at it for a while and realized that such moments are the true beauty life. In our busy lives often ignore things that simple but carry a very deep meaning.
We dont just take the time enjoy it. When I returned home and looked picture this dragonfly again, I realized that I had captured this moment not in my camera, but in my heart.
Dragonflies also play important role in nature. They are beneficial insects that maintain the balance the environment eating other harmful insects like mosquitoes. Since childhood, we have been fascinated dragonflies, their flying posture, colorful bodies, everything seems like a kind fairy tale creature. But we grow up, we lose those wonders. That evening seemed awaken the child inside me again.
I learned one thing from this experience—you dont need a big arrangement find the beauty nature. Just an open mind and alert eyes are enough. A dragonfly sitting on a blade grass on a walking path can stop our lives for a moment, teach us think, and most importantly—learn feel.
The pictures that day and that moment will remain in my memory for a long time. Maybe I will go that place again, but I may not see such a scene again. But that first feeling, that wonder, that tranquility—it will stay with me forever.
