The Cerukcuk White-rumped Shama (Pycnonotus goiavier) is known by the people of Aceh as a bird very familiar with village life. Almost every morning, its chirping accompanies farmers as they go to the fields. This bird is very easy to find because it is not picky about its habitat—from bushes, gardens, to yards, it can all be a haven.
