On a fresh green leaf that appeared to have holes in it, a ladybird was perched. Upon closer inspection, the ladybird charm was like a tiny star standing proudly on a green stage. Its tiny, round body, when hit by sunlight, reflected a beautiful shimmer, resembling a bead polished by morning dew. Absolutely beautiful.
This beetle's coloration is stunning, jet black blending gracefully with golden orange. What caught my attention most about this beetle was the pattern on its back. I think it resembles a bat's wings in flight. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
This beetle is called Cheilomenes sexmaculata in Latin, a farmer's friend from the Coccinellidae family. It's called the farmer's friend because it helps farmers repel pests. It catches any pests that try to damage their crops.
So, for those of you who enjoy gardening, if you see these beetles in your garden, don't worry, they'll help you protect your plants. From this, we can judge these beetles: they're not only visually beautiful but also beneficial to us.
