Holo everyone!
First off, we want to apologize to the community for the radio silence as of late, while we are preparing another post explaining more in depth what occurred and our current situation and development, we are deeply sorry that we haven't posted any updates through our blog. While we've tried to let people in the Discord know about some unfortunate incidents that occurred with sickness in our small team, we should've also posted some updates here. We'll get out another post shortly going through what happened and where Holozing stands as of now but we wanted to start things off with the reveal of a new creature in our roster so it's not all just gloomy. We hope you're still with us and excited as to what's to come once the pieces of the puzzle have come together properly!
A few months ago, @acidyo posted a collection of his favorite cloud posts on Hive and he had the idea that clouds kind of look like wool on sheep (maybe not the most original idea), but that triggered him to experiment with some AI prompts to see what it'd look like. He thought that the first creature would be sunny and cute so the wool/clouds would represent a warm color and include the symbol of the sun on the creature.
This is Woolio, named by our team member @strawhat.
Woolio is a normal type Holozing creature, it won't have high attack but its wool makes for good defense meaning it can take quite a few hits til it needs you to heal it up. This is one of the first creatures in our roster that'll evolve into a different type creature if you let it, of course you can also decide not to evolve it and keep it as cute as it is until max level!
Its evolution, named by the same team member, is Woolitz!
From sunny warm evening clouds to dark and thunderous clouds, Woolitz becomes an electric-type creature. It'll still maintain all the moves it has learned as Woolio but during the evolution and upon leveling it up further it'll start learning electric-type attacks as well as maintaining its tanky defensive abilities. If you're looking to capture water-type creatures that you can bring down to low level fast while not needing to spend too much mana healing up your creature, then Woolitz will be a good bet!
While things have been quiet with updates from the team, artwork has continued moving forward. We have a lot of creatures to reveal and may also start revealing their 3d form here soon, hope you're looking forward to that. Expect a post with an explanation, more details on current standings, etc, soon. Again, we apologize for the lack of updates and uncertainty it may have caused and are very appreciative that the core community and artists have remained strong and active, thank you!
