We're just 5 days away from the new year which to me is quite unbelievable. I kept wondering where the days, weeks, and months have gone because I feel 2023 seems to be going by so fast!
Anyway, it's great to see that the excitement here in the Holozing community is still very alive. It goes to show that people do not want to miss the chance of being a part of it.
And I do like the fact that the team behind this project is involving the community in various aspects of the game through the initiatives that they are running in the form of contests - from naming the starter characters to creature backgrounds (which just ended by the way), and I believe there will be more as the development progresses.
How often do we encounter projects that are like that?
I mean, they're giving the community a way to add value through their contribution. I think that is one of the things that makes Holozing even more alluring and welcoming. It's no surprise that the community's response and participation are high because it encourages people to get involved, have fun, and showcase their creativity. Imagine if even one of your designs gets picked and incorporated into the game. That would be pretty wild, isn't it? That just made me wish I had some creative bones in me too then I'd take my chances, lol!
Meanwhile, while some people are selling their rewards, most are continuously stacking up the game token (ZING). Many have already earned tens and hundreds of thousands of ZING (two accounts over a million based on the top contributors list) and we can see that they are still keen on growing their holdings which makes me feel some FOMO, lol!
Yes, I continually claim my rewards too, and today, I am stoked to find out that I have already reached a wee milestone - over 5k ZING earned in the last 2 months - all from holding POSH, my delegated HP, and staking rewards. I did not even provide any liquidity in the ZING:SWAP.HIVE LP in the Diesel Pools and checking it now, the APR is still juicy at 247% if anyone wants to take part [NFA].
In the last 24 days, I was able to add a little over 1.8k+ staked ZING, down a bit from the 1.9k in the same number of days in the previous month, but still pretty awesome. That's a given considering that more people are joining so there are more accounts to share from the allotted rewards so the APRs will drop too.
But I just love that we can earn and accumulate the token through any or all of the 4 options, most are risk-free. One of the easiest ways to do that is by delegating Hive Power to the official Holozing account and I'd like to think that in so doing, we are also contributing something to the project, even in the tiniest bit.
And there was a teaser post on X that a bridge to/from BSC is incoming. That's another exciting development, an onramp/offramp channel to make it easier for people to get assets into (and out) and I do not doubt that many are eagerly awaiting the game launch but they are also enjoying the chance of stacking up more of the token before the day comes.
