3 weeks ago, my earned and staked ZING crossed the 5k mark and while I had been claiming the rewards several times a day in the thought of growing it quickly, it still feels like it is taking forever. The APRs have dropped but they are still decent. They will decrease further unless people stop adding to the HP delegation, growing their POSH token, and their staked ZING.
That's quite impossible of course. People want to have their share of the rewards. And that can be seen from the increase in the number of people claiming ZING - from less than 1k accounts before to now 1,325.
From rank #208, I have now been pushed down to #235 in the top contributor's list.

My bad for not being proactive and I guess it's time to get a little more greedy. It's not too late, yeah?
The thing is that I want to have at least 10k ZING before the middle of the year (actually, sooner) which prompted me to do something about it. It isn't in my budget to buy the token but since I have some Hive Power to spare, I might as well use them. And so earlier today, I doubled my initial HP delegation.

With that, I expect an increase in the rewards. At the time of this publication, the current APR for the HP delegation is at 32.93% which still gives a nice return.
You may have already read that the claimdrop for POSH holders will end before the 1st of February. That means from next month, there will only be 3 ways to earn the ZING token (HP delegation, adding liquidity to the pool, and staking ZING).
I'd say it's been a great 3 months since the 21st of October and the fact that we get a share of the allocated rewards just by holding POSH is simply awesome. So thank you Acid and team for this unique way of distribution.
From what I read, there will be more similar ideas to which POSH will be used so I'm not letting go of my POSH for sure!
Meanwhile, things are getting more and more exciting in the community with the character/accessories reveal and all.
I took a quick visit to the project's Whitepaper for the roadmap and I realized that we are past the middle of January so I believe the timeline is going to be pushed toward February and March. Of course, that's a given. Developments take time and it's understandable. The delay is good in my opinion. Why so? My reason is below.

It will give me (and probably you) more time to prepare and have liquid HIVE ready to be able to participate when the Starter Pack and Healer Character sales come. I have no idea of how their price would be but it makes me want to have more in my wallet so I won't get caught unprepared.
I'm not even sure if I will be playing the game when it gets released but I do want to get involved and have at least some of the game's assets in my holdings. You could say that the FOMO got ahold of me. And why not? The hype surrounding the project is high. Add to that, the support it gets from people is just amazing.
So how about you, any plans so far? Are you going to buy packs when they come out?
If you're not in it yet, I invite you to check it out.
