Hi everyone! I’m lorentm, a passionate digital artist, and today I’m beyond excited to welcome you all to another post on my art blog. I’ve been working on a very special piece inspired by a character from the wonderful world of @holozing, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. He estado trabajando en una obra muy especial inspirada en un personaje del maravilloso universo de @holozing, y no podía esperar más para compartirla con ustedes. This time, I decided to create an anime-style fan art of Glaciox, the powerful ice evolution of Glacion. The transformation of this icy dragon into a humanized female version was a creative challenge that filled me with inspiration. Her presence is strong and elegant, embodying the essence of ice in both power and beauty.
En esta ocasión, decidí crear un fan art al estilo anime de Glaciox, la poderosa evolución de hielo de Glacion. La transformación de este dragón helado en una versión femenina humanizada fue un desafío creativo que me llenó de inspiración. Su presencia es fuerte y elegante, encarnando la esencia del hielo tanto en poder como en belleza.
Working on her felt like sculpting a crystal spirit—cold, majestic, and mysteriously fierce. I wanted to portray that inner strength and the aura of silent confidence she radiates. She’s not just a character; she’s a force of nature, and I wanted to reflect that in every detail.
Trabajar en ella fue como esculpir un espíritu de cristal: fría, majestuosa y misteriosamente feroz. Quise retratar esa fuerza interior y el aura de confianza silenciosa que irradia. No es solo un personaje; es una fuerza de la naturaleza, y quise reflejar eso en cada detalle.
Creating this artwork helped me connect even more with the magical universe of Holozing. Every time I explore their characters, I discover new layers of inspiration and creativity, and Glaciox was no exception. She quickly became one of my favorite transformations to illustrate.
Crear esta obra me ayudó a conectarme aún más con el universo mágico de Holozing. Cada vez que exploro sus personajes, descubro nuevas capas de inspiración y creatividad, y Glaciox no fue la excepción. Rápidamente se convirtió en una de mis transformaciones favoritas para ilustrar.
Glaciox’s design is striking from the first glance. I imagined her with long, flowing ice-blue hair that waves like a glacial breeze, giving her a cold yet graceful aura. Her eyes are a deep, piercing violet that seem to freeze you in place, reflecting her elemental essence.
El diseño de Glaciox es impactante desde la primera mirada. La imaginé con un cabello largo y ondulado de color azul hielo, que se mueve como una brisa glacial, dándole un aura fría pero elegante. Sus ojos son de un violeta profundo y penetrante que parecen congelarte al instante, reflejando su esencia elemental.
She wears a fitted dress in deep arctic blue, minimal but stylish, that flows slightly with her movements. Her boots are sturdy yet feminine, with a design inspired by icy peaks—strong and delicate at once.
Lleva un vestido entallado en un azul ártico profundo, minimalista pero con estilo, que se mueve ligeramente con sus movimientos. Sus botas son resistentes pero femeninas, con un diseño inspirado en picos helados: fuertes y delicadas a la vez.
One of her most distinctive features is the crown-like ice crystals that emerge from her head, shaped like sharp frozen shards. They represent her regal and untouchable power. Her tail is long and ends in an angular ice crystal formation, a nod to her dragon origins.
Una de sus características más distintivas es la corona de cristales de hielo que emerge de su cabeza, con forma de afiladas esquirlas congeladas. Representan su poder majestuoso e inalcanzable. Su cola es larga y termina en una formación de cristal angular, un guiño a sus orígenes de dragón.
Surrounding her are towering ice crystals that mirror her power and serenity. The whole atmosphere is calm, yet full of hidden strength. Her stance, with a closed fist and serious gaze, communicates that she’s ready to protect her territory—or freeze anything that stands in her way.
A su alrededor se alzan imponentes cristales de hielo que reflejan su poder y serenidad. Toda la atmósfera es tranquila, pero llena de fuerza latente. Su postura, con el puño cerrado y una mirada seria, comunica que está lista para proteger su territorio… o congelar todo lo que se interponga en su camino.
Process / Proceso
I began with a rough sketch, letting my ideas flow freely as I established her pose, proportions, and general mood. This is always one of my favorite parts—it’s where the character first starts to breathe.
Comencé con un boceto inicial, dejando que las ideas fluyeran libremente mientras establecía su pose, proporciones y estado de ánimo general. Esta es siempre una de mis partes favoritas: es donde el personaje comienza a respirar por primera vez.
Once I was satisfied with the base, I moved on to the lineart. I refined each contour with care, giving special attention to the hair and tail to enhance the sense of motion and fluidity. Clean, expressive lines are essential for bringing out the personality in anime art.
Una vez que estuve satisfecha con la base, pasé al delineado. Refiné cada contorno con cuidado, prestando especial atención al cabello y la cola para acentuar la sensación de movimiento y fluidez. Las líneas limpias y expresivas son esenciales para resaltar la personalidad en el arte anime.
Coloring was where the magic really started. I chose a cool palette dominated by icy blues and purples, with subtle gradients that suggest reflected light on a frozen surface. Her skin has a slightly pale tone to match the chill atmosphere.
El coloreado fue donde realmente empezó la magia. Elegí una paleta fría dominada por azules helados y violetas, con degradados sutiles que sugieren luz reflejada sobre una superficie congelada. Su piel tiene un tono ligeramente pálido para combinar con la atmósfera gélida.
When adding shadows, I focused on depth and contrast, especially around the folds of her dress, her hair, and her boots. I used soft but clear shading to keep the anime aesthetic clean while still giving the image volume.
Al añadir sombras, me concentré en la profundidad y el contraste, especialmente alrededor de los pliegues de su vestido, su cabello y sus botas. Usé un sombreado suave pero definido para mantener la estética anime limpia y, al mismo tiempo, dar volumen a la imagen.
Then came the highlights! I added glimmers on her hair, the edges of the ice crown, and the dress to give her a crisp, magical shine. The light helps emphasize the texture of the crystals and adds a fantasy touch.
¡Luego vinieron los brillos! Añadí destellos en su cabello, los bordes de la corona de hielo y el vestido para darle un brillo nítido y mágico. La luz ayuda a enfatizar la textura de los cristales y aporta un toque de fantasía.
Finally, I created the background. I used a gradient night sky filled with stars and towering shards of ice to set the scene. It was important for me that the environment felt like a natural extension of Glaciox herself.
Finalmente, creé el fondo. Utilicé un cielo nocturno en degradado lleno de estrellas y enormes fragmentos de hielo para ambientar la escena. Para mí era importante que el entorno se sintiera como una extensión natural de Glaciox.

Creating this piece was incredibly fulfilling. Glaciox inspired me to push my creativity further, and exploring her icy essence was a thrilling experience. Every detail—from the shimmer in her eyes to the shards surrounding her—helped bring her character to life.
Crear esta pieza fue increíblemente gratificante. Glaciox me inspiró a llevar mi creatividad aún más lejos, y explorar su esencia helada fue una experiencia emocionante. Cada detalle, desde el brillo en sus ojos hasta los fragmentos de hielo que la rodean, ayudó a dar vida a su personaje.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
