Hello everyone, and welcome to my art blog! I’m Lorentm, a digital artist passionate about bringing characters to life in new and exciting ways. Today, I’m thrilled to share a very special artwork with the amazing community of @holozing. For this piece, I decided to create a fan art of Glimmo, reimagined in an anime style and transformed into her feminine humanized version.
Glimmo has always fascinated me with her cheerful energy and adventurous spirit. Translating her original creature-like features into a human form was both a creative challenge and a lot of fun. I wanted to capture her vibrant essence while keeping some of her recognizable traits, so fans could still immediately see who she is meant to be.
In her humanized version, Glimmo is full of life, with an expressive face and a dynamic pose that reflects her unstoppable curiosity. I imagined her mid-run, ready to dive into her next big adventure, with a bright, energetic aura surrounding her. She’s someone you’d want as your partner on any quest.

Hola a todos y bienvenidos a mi blog de arte. Soy Lorentm, una artista digital apasionada por dar vida a los personajes de formas nuevas y emocionantes. Hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir una obra muy especial con la increíble comunidad de @holozing. Para esta pieza, decidí crear un fan art de Glimmo, reimaginada en un estilo anime y transformada en su versión femenina humanizada.
Glimmo siempre me ha fascinado con su energía alegre y su espíritu aventurero. Traducir sus características originales a una forma humana fue un reto creativo y muy divertido. Quise capturar su esencia vibrante conservando algunos de sus rasgos más reconocibles, para que los fans pudieran identificarla de inmediato.
En su versión humanizada, Glimmo está llena de vida, con un rostro expresivo y una pose dinámica que refleja su curiosidad imparable. La imaginé en plena carrera, lista para lanzarse a su próxima gran aventura, con un aura brillante y enérgica a su alrededor. Es de esas compañeras que querrías tener en cualquier misión.
Antes de entrar en los detalles, quiero dar un enorme agradecimiento a @acidyo y @holozing por apoyar continuamente mis obras y motivarme a llevar mi arte a nuevos niveles. Sin esta increíble comunidad, piezas como esta no serían posibles.
In this artwork, Glimmo’s human form keeps a direct connection to her original design. Her bright orange hair is wild and slightly tousled, reflecting her playful and adventurous side. Her eyes shine with determination and joy, perfectly matching her wide, excited smile. She wears an outfit inspired by a turtle’s shell, with a light green chest plate and a brown shell on her back. Her short orange dress flows with her movement, and her sturdy boots are made for running through any terrain.
The scene captures her mid-motion, running forward with both arms raised in an expression of pure triumph. Behind her, the sky is filled with radiant sunbeams breaking through soft, pastel clouds, creating a dramatic and uplifting atmosphere. The grassy field under her feet adds a touch of freshness and freedom to the composition, emphasizing her adventurous personality.
En esta obra, la forma humana de Glimmo conserva una conexión directa con su diseño original. Su brillante cabello naranja es rebelde y ligeramente despeinado, reflejando su lado juguetón y aventurero. Sus ojos brillan con determinación y alegría, combinando perfectamente con su amplia y emocionada sonrisa. Lleva un atuendo inspirado en el caparazón de una tortuga, con una pechera verde claro y un caparazón marrón en la espalda. Su vestido corto naranja se mueve con su carrera, y sus botas resistentes están hechas para atravesar cualquier terreno.

Process / Proceso
The first step was sketching the basic composition. I wanted to capture movement from the very beginning, so I worked with loose, energetic lines to shape her pose and the general flow of the piece. This part is all about finding balance between action and readability.
Once I was happy with the sketch, I moved on to the line art. I refined all the shapes, adding details like her hair spikes, the folds of her dress, and the segmented texture of her turtle shell. Clean lines help set the foundation for everything that comes next.
Coloring came next, where I brought Glimmo to life with her signature orange and green palette. I paid close attention to harmonizing the warm and earthy tones so her personality would shine through while staying true to the original inspiration.
Shading was a crucial step to enhance the depth and dimension of the piece. I placed shadows strategically to suggest sunlight coming from behind, giving her a more dynamic and lively feel.
After shadows, I worked on the highlights. These bright spots on her hair, eyes, and outfit give the drawing a vibrant, almost glowing look, which matches the energy of her character perfectly.
Finally, the background tied everything together. I created a bright, radiant sunrise with beams spreading across the sky, soft clouds framing the composition, and a grassy field that grounds her in the scene. The background doesn’t just decorate — it amplifies her sense of adventure.
El primer paso fue el boceto de la composición básica. Quise capturar el movimiento desde el inicio, así que trabajé con líneas sueltas y enérgicas para definir su pose y el flujo general de la pieza. Esta parte trata de encontrar el equilibrio entre acción y claridad visual.
Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el boceto, pasé al delineado. Refiné todas las formas, añadiendo detalles como los mechones de su cabello, los pliegues de su vestido y la textura segmentada de su caparazón. Las líneas limpias son la base para todo lo que viene después.
Luego pasé al coloreado, donde di vida a Glimmo con su paleta característica de naranjas y verdes. Presté mucha atención a armonizar los tonos cálidos y terrosos para que su personalidad brillara sin perder la esencia original.
Las sombras fueron un paso crucial para dar profundidad y dimensión a la obra. Coloqué las sombras estratégicamente para sugerir la luz del sol viniendo desde atrás, dándole una sensación más dinámica y viva.
Después de las sombras, trabajé en los brillos. Estos puntos luminosos en el cabello, los ojos y la ropa le dieron al dibujo un aspecto vibrante y casi resplandeciente, perfecto para su energía.
Finalmente, el fondo unió todo. Creé un amanecer radiante con rayos de luz extendiéndose por el cielo, nubes suaves enmarcando la composición y un campo de hierba que la sitúa en la escena. El fondo no solo adorna, sino que amplifica su sentido de aventura.

Creating this piece was an absolute joy. Translating Glimmo’s unique traits into a humanized anime version allowed me to explore new design ideas while staying faithful to her origins. The energy, movement, and color palette all came together to express her adventurous spirit.
I’m truly grateful to @acidyo and @holozing for their constant support and encouragement. It’s thanks to communities like this that I can continue experimenting and sharing my passion for digital art with all of you.
Crear esta obra fue una auténtica alegría. Traducir los rasgos únicos de Glimmo a una versión humanizada en estilo anime me permitió explorar nuevas ideas de diseño sin perder la fidelidad a su origen. La energía, el movimiento y la paleta de colores se unieron para expresar su espíritu aventurero.

Materials / Materiales
The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
