I'm Lorentm, a digital artist, and I’m thrilled to welcome you all to my art blog. Today, I want to share a piece that holds a special meaning for me. It’s a fan art of the female Light Healer from the @holozing universe, rendered in anime style. With this artwork, I’m launching a new collection that aims to explore the more human and emotional side of these powerful characters.
This new series shifts the spotlight away from epic battles and focuses instead on moments of peace, reflection, and daily life. These scenes remind us that the healers’ strength lies not only in their powers, but in their empathy and their connection to the world around them. They’re more than just magical beings; they’re part of their community, they live, feel, and heal beyond combat.
The female Light Healer immediately captivated me. Her serene and luminous presence carries a quiet confidence that I wanted to capture. There’s something inspiring about a character who radiates hope and calm—like a soft light that always finds a way in, even through stormy skies.
Creating this piece felt like spending time with an old friend. I imagined her enjoying a peaceful morning, sipping something warm, reading in the soft glow of the sun. This is the first character of this series, and I couldn’t be happier to begin this journey with her.

Es un fan art de la sanadora de luz de @holozing, representada en estilo anime. Con esta ilustración doy inicio a una nueva colección que busca mostrar el lado más humano y emocional de estos poderosos personajes.
Esta nueva serie se aleja de las batallas épicas para centrarse en momentos de paz, reflexión y vida cotidiana. Son escenas que nos recuerdan que el verdadero poder de los sanadores no está solo en la magia, sino también en su empatía y conexión con el mundo que los rodea. No son solo seres mágicos; son parte activa de su comunidad, viven, sienten y sanan más allá del combate.
Desde el primer momento, la sanadora de luz femenina me cautivó. Su presencia serena y luminosa transmite una confianza tranquila que quise plasmar en la ilustración. Hay algo inspirador en un personaje que irradia esperanza y calma, como esa luz suave que siempre encuentra cómo colarse, incluso en medio de las tormentas.
Crear esta pieza fue como compartir un momento con una amiga cercana. Me la imaginé disfrutando una mañana tranquila, tomando algo caliente, leyendo bajo la luz suave del sol. Es el primer personaje de esta nueva colección, y no podría estar más feliz de comenzar este viaje con ella.
The Light Healer sits near a sunlit window, a calm expression on her face. Her soft, creamy sweater adds to the cozy atmosphere, suggesting comfort and simplicity. Her long, flowing hair is ivory-white with delicate streaks of light pink, giving her a gentle, radiant aura. The golden crown-like accessory on her forehead hints at her magical origins and her noble role as a healer of light.
Her eyes are warm and amber-toned, reflecting both kindness and quiet strength. The cup she holds adds an everyday touch to the composition, making her feel approachable and human. She’s not healing with spells right now—she’s healing through rest, through being present. The open book in front of her reinforces that idea of mindfulness and gentle wisdom.
La sanadora de luz está sentada junto a una ventana bañada por el sol, con una expresión serena en el rostro. Su suéter color crema suave aporta a la atmósfera de calma y confort, transmitiendo una sensación de simplicidad y calidez. Su cabello largo y suelto es de un blanco marfil, con suaves reflejos rosados que refuerzan su aura luminosa. El accesorio dorado en forma de corona sobre su frente revela sus orígenes mágicos y su papel noble como sanadora de luz.

En ese momento no está sanando con hechizos; está sanando desde la tranquilidad, desde el descanso. El libro abierto frente a ella refuerza esa idea de sabiduría serena y conexión con el presente.
Process / Proceso
I began the artwork with a clean sketch, carefully blocking out the pose and the proportions. I knew I wanted her seated in a natural, relaxed posture by the window, so I took extra care with the composition to make the scene feel balanced and grounded.
Once I had the lines just right, I moved on to the inking. I used a fine digital brush to trace over the sketch, adding subtle weight variation to bring out softness and clarity. This step always brings the character to life—it’s like seeing a blurry thought come into focus.
Next came the coloring. I chose a warm palette of soft pastels and gentle lights. The creamy tones of her skin and sweater contrasted beautifully with the golden highlights in her hair and the soft pink undertones, giving her a peaceful glow.
I then added the shadows, using a combination of soft shading and cel-shading to define the form without making it too heavy. The light coming from the window helped me create a cozy mood, and I used it as my guide to shape her features and the folds in the clothes.
After the shadows, I worked on the highlights. This is one of my favorite steps because it’s where the magic happens. The shimmer on her hair, the spark in her eyes, and the soft glow on the cup and book—all of that adds life and emotion to the piece.
Lastly, I painted the background. I kept it simple yet full of warmth: a partly cloudy sky, gentle greenery, and soft light coming through the window. It doesn’t overwhelm the character—it just embraces her.
Comencé la ilustración con un boceto limpio, marcando con cuidado la pose y las proporciones. Quería que ella estuviera sentada en una postura natural y relajada junto a la ventana, así que presté especial atención a la composición para que la escena se sintiera equilibrada y armónica.
Una vez que tuve las líneas bien definidas, pasé al delineado. Usé un pincel digital fino para trazar sobre el boceto, añadiendo sutiles variaciones de grosor para darle suavidad y claridad. Esta parte siempre me emociona porque es cuando el personaje empieza a cobrar vida, como si una idea borrosa se volviera nítida.
Después vino el color. Elegí una paleta cálida de tonos pastel y luces suaves. Los colores cremosos de su piel y su suéter contrastan de forma hermosa con los reflejos dorados en su cabello y los suaves matices rosados, dándole un brillo pacífico y acogedor.
Luego añadí las sombras, combinando sombreado suave con cel-shading para definir la forma sin que se viera demasiado pesada. La luz que entra por la ventana me sirvió de guía para crear una atmósfera acogedora, y con ella modelé los pliegues de la ropa y sus rasgos.
Tras las sombras, trabajé los brillos. Esta es una de mis partes favoritas porque es donde ocurre la magia. El brillo en su cabello, el destello en sus ojos y la luz suave sobre la taza y el libro aportan vida y emoción a la ilustración.
Finalmente pinté el fondo. Lo mantuve sencillo pero lleno de calidez: un cielo parcialmente nublado, vegetación suave y luz tenue entrando por la ventana. No compite con el personaje, simplemente la abraza.

This piece reminded me why I love character-driven art so much. It’s not just about fantasy or design—it’s about moments, feelings, and stories that speak to something real in all of us. I feel really proud of how this illustration turned out, and I hope it inspires others to see the Light Healer not just as a magical character, but as someone relatable, warm, and deeply human.
Esta pieza me recordó por qué amo tanto el arte centrado en los personajes. No se trata solo de fantasía o diseño; se trata de momentos, emociones e historias que conectan con algo verdadero dentro de cada una de nosotras. Me siento muy orgullosa de cómo quedó esta ilustración, y espero que inspire a otras personas a ver a la Sanadora de Luz no solo como un personaje mágico, sino como alguien cercano, cálido y profundamente humano.
