Welcome to my art blog! I'm Lorentm, a digital artist passionate about fantasy and anime-inspired creations. Today, I'm incredibly excited to share with you my latest fan art based on one of the characters from @holozing. It has been a joy to take part in this creative journey, and connecting with this vibrant community always fills me with inspiration.
This time, I decided to bring to life the male Ocean Healer in anime style. Designing this character was a deeply immersive experience, as I imagined him not only as a healer but also as a mysterious figure guided by the wisdom of the tides. I envisioned his presence as calm, fluid, yet powerful—like the sea itself.
He is part of a larger project I’ve been developing for the art collection initiative led by @acidyo. The concept revolves around medieval healers, each inspired by a different elemental force. This ocean healer marks the sixth and final addition to the collection, closing this creative cycle with waves of emotion.
Working on this final piece brought a sense of both completion and gratitude. Each character in this series helped me grow as an artist, and this last one especially allowed me to play with magical and fluid aesthetics. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

En esta ocasión decidí dar vida al sanador oceánico masculino en estilo anime. Diseñar a este personaje fue una experiencia profundamente inmersiva, ya que lo imaginé no solo como un sanador, sino como una figura enigmática guiada por la sabiduría de las mareas. Su presencia me la imaginé como serena, fluida, pero poderosa—como el mar mismo.
Él forma parte de un proyecto más amplio que he estado desarrollando para la iniciativa de colecciones artísticas que lidera @acidyo. El concepto gira en torno a sanadores medievales, cada uno inspirado en una fuerza elemental diferente. Este sanador oceánico representa el sexto y último personaje de la colección, cerrando este ciclo creativo con olas de emoción.
Trabajar en esta pieza final me trajo una sensación de cierre y gratitud. Cada personaje de esta serie me ayudó a crecer como artista, y este último en particular me permitió explorar estéticas mágicas y fluidas. Espero que lo disfruten tanto como yo disfruté crearlo.
The Ocean Healer is designed with a harmonious blend of medieval and aquatic elements. His turquoise and deep-blue robe reflects the essence of water, trimmed with gold to hint at his noble and mystical role. A luminous symbol on his chest resembles flowing currents, suggesting his deep connection to healing through water magic.
He wears a large cloak that drapes like waves over his shoulders, fastened with a circular brooch resembling a crescent moon—perhaps representing the tides. His staff, curved and shimmering, looks like it was forged from enchanted coral, hinting at his oceanic origin and magical prowess.
His hair is spiky and ocean-blue, styled in a way that suggests wind and waves crashing against each other. A delicate silver tiara with a crystal adorns his forehead, a subtle sign of his wisdom and mystical alignment. His belt, pouch, and bracers ground the character in a more medieval world, completing a balance between function and fantasy.
El Sanador Oceánico fue diseñado con una armoniosa fusión de elementos medievales y acuáticos. Su túnica turquesa con azul profundo refleja la esencia del agua, con detalles dorados que insinúan su rol noble y místico. El símbolo brillante en su pecho se asemeja a corrientes en movimiento, lo que sugiere su profunda conexión con la magia sanadora del agua.
Lleva una gran capa que cae como olas sobre sus hombros, sujetada con un broche circular que recuerda a una luna creciente—tal vez representando las mareas. Su bastón, curvo y reluciente, parece forjado en coral encantado, insinuando su origen oceánico y su habilidad mágica.
Su cabello es puntiagudo y azul océano, peinado de una forma que evoca el viento y las olas chocando entre sí. Una delicada tiara plateada con un cristal adorna su frente, como un sutil símbolo de sabiduría y conexión mística. Process / Proceso
I began the artwork with a loose sketch, focusing on the character’s pose and silhouette. I wanted him to appear composed yet powerful, with a firm stance and a lifted hand as if controlling a mysterious aquatic force. This early phase helped me define the balance between elegance and strength.
Once I had the structure clear, I moved on to the linework. I refined each detail of the clothing, hair, and accessories, ensuring clarity while preserving the fluidity of his design. The outlines were crucial to give rhythm and movement to his silhouette, especially in the flowing cape and the magic orb.
Coloring brought life into the piece. I selected a palette of cool hues—turquoises, deep blues, and touches of aquamarine. I applied color with intention, creating harmony between the character and the background. The golden accents helped elevate his presence and suggested a divine touch.
Adding shadows gave the character volume and weight. I imagined a soft, early morning light, which helped create a dreamlike atmosphere. The shadows followed the folds of the clothing and added depth to his facial expression and stance.
I added highlights to key areas like the hair, the crystal tiara, and the magic spell. These glowing touches brought energy and motion, especially around the floating shape of the magical water sphere. This part really made the character feel alive.
Lastly, I created the background with soft clouds and a reflective water surface. It blends the heavens and the sea, wrapping the character in his element. The gradient sky suggests a mystical dawn, perfect for a healer who rises with the tide.
Comencé la ilustración con un boceto suelto, centrándome en la pose y la silueta del personaje. Quería que se viera sereno pero poderoso, con una postura firme y una mano elevada como si controlara una fuerza acuática misteriosa. Esta fase inicial me ayudó a definir el equilibrio entre la elegancia y la fuerza.
Una vez que la estructura estuvo clara, pasé al delineado. Afiné cada detalle del vestuario, el cabello y los accesorios, asegurándome de mantener la claridad sin perder la fluidez del diseño. Las líneas fueron esenciales para dar ritmo y movimiento a su silueta, especialmente en la capa ondeante y el orbe mágico.
El coloreado dio vida a la pieza. Elegí una paleta de tonos fríos—turquesas, azules profundos y toques de aguamarina. Apliqué el color con intención, buscando armonía entre el personaje y su entorno. Los acentos dorados ayudaron a elevar su presencia y a sugerir un toque divino.
Al añadir sombras, el personaje ganó volumen y peso. Imaginé una luz suave, como de madrugada, lo que ayudó a crear una atmósfera de ensueño. Las sombras seguían los pliegues de la ropa y daban profundidad a su expresión y postura.
Agregué brillos en áreas clave como el cabello, la tiara de cristal y el hechizo mágico. Estos toques brillantes aportaron energía y movimiento, especialmente alrededor de la esfera mágica flotante. Esta parte realmente hizo que el personaje cobrara vida.
Finalmente, creé el fondo con nubes suaves y una superficie de agua reflectante. Une el cielo con el océano, envolviendo al personaje en su elemento. El cielo en degradado sugiere un amanecer místico, perfecto para un sanador que se alza con la marea.

Finishing this piece filled me with both nostalgia and pride. The Ocean Healer is a character that allowed me to explore a soft yet powerful energy, and visually represent serenity in motion. It’s been a rewarding challenge to complete this six-part collection, and I’m thankful for the creative growth it brought me.
