Today I've brought you a miniature I made out of polymer clay of a character from Holozing, the Fire Wolf.
Boy, it's been a long time since I worked with polymer clay. To be honest, this was only the second time I've made a character in this design style. Although it's a bit simpler, it's not exactly what I used to do in the past. I've always read a lot of books and tried to represent the characters I imagined through modeling and sculpture, so I do better at that. But after a few years without getting my hands dirty (literally), I'm back!
The first character I made in this revival was Pikachu, but I did it just to test my skills and see if I was still good at it. I ended up doing well, even though I spent a lot of time on it.
So, after making this Pikachu and liking the result, I went in search of something more challenging and chose Fire Wolf to reproduce. On the surface, it looked like it was going to be an easy job, but it wasn't. I only discovered this during the process. It took more than four hours to make this character, and I recorded most of the process, except for the final part. Something went wrong with my cell phone and I lost the most important part. Unfortunately, these things happen, but I still have 3 hours of video that I reduced to 16 minutes with the edits.
Maybe I was a bit nervous about being filmed while doing something like that. It was the first time I recorded my process.
Wow, it took me 3 days to finish this job. This is due to the waiting time needed for some parts to dry and for me to be able to manipulate them without ruining what had already been done.
Well, the result was pretty close to what I wanted. Some parts were quite difficult to reproduce. Painting some details is where I have the most difficulty. As I don't know where I put my old tools, I had to improvise, which made things even more complicated. I'm not a professional in this area; I just do it as a hobby and because I enjoy it.

E aí pessoal! Hoje eu trouxe uma miniatura que fiz de biscuit de um personagem do Holozing, o Fire Wolf.
Caramba, fazia muito tempo que eu não trabalhava com biscuit. Para ser sincero, essa foi apenas a segunda vez que fiz um personagem nesse estilo de desenho. Como não sei onde coloquei minhas ferramentas antigas, tive que improvisar, o que tornou as coisas ainda mais complicadas. Não sou um profissional nessa área; faço isso apenas como hobby e porque gosto.
