Greetings, friends! I hope you are all doing well!
I've had an idea in mind for a while, and although I had my doubts, I decided to develop it and share it with you.
I was thinking of a new character for Holozing inspired by the desert climate or biome, maintaining the style of creature hunters, which is why I added the capture device and the cap inspired by existing ones. I think it maintains the style of other healers. Even so, I think it also works as a multipurpose NPC.
My first idea was to create the character from a single view, but to make it a more complete proposal, I thought of doing it with the style of multiple views. I paid close attention to the image of the forest healer with different views. I have rarely done a drawing this way, that is, the same character with different views on the same canvas, as it does not leave much room for variations. However, it is a good practice exercise, and it looks nice.
As I mentioned, the uniform is inspired by those of other healers, and the leather boots and gloves give it a somewhat cowboy style.
You could say that I was inspired by the forest healer, Fio from Metal Slug, and the hamburger girl from Wendy's, although the latter was unintentional. I gave her braids and noticed the resemblance to that character.
Apart from this OC, I have several ideas for creatures from this desert biome, but I think I'll leave that for later, depending on whether you like the idea.

Desde hace tiempo tenia en mente una idea, aunque tenia mis dudas en esta oportunidad decidí desarrollarla y compartirla con ustedes.
Estaba pensando en un personaje nuevo para Holozing inspirado en el clima o bioma del desierto, manteniendo el estilo de cazadores de creaturas " por eso le agregue el dispositivo de captura" y la gorra inspirada en las ya existente. creo que mantiene el estilo de otros sanadores. aun asi creo que funciona también como un NPC multipropósito.
Mi primera idea era solo crear el personaje desde una sola vista pero para que esta sea una propuesta mas completa pensé en hacerla con el estilo de varias vistas, "me fije mucho en la imagen de forest healer con diferentes vistas" , son muy contadas las veces que hice un dibujo de esta forma, es decir mismo personaje diferentes vistas en el mismo lienzo, no deja mucho espacio para variaciones. Pero es un buen ejercicio de práctica y se ve bonita.
El uniforme como mencione esta inspirado en el de otros sanadores, las botas y guantes de cuero le da un estilo algo vaquera.
Se puede decir que me inspire en forest healer, Fio " metal slug", y la chica de las hamburguesas de Wendy " aunque esta ultima fue sin intención jaja le puse las trenzas y note el parecido que tenía con dicho personaje".
Aparte de este OC tengo varias ideas para creaturas de este bioma de desierto pero creo que lo dejaré para más adelante dependiendo si les gusta la idea.

Well, I know it's not a reference, but I was inspired by these two characters to create my OC. I liked Fio's style of shorts, they have a desert style and a touch of explorer. And from Forest Healer, I liked this style of image where the character is shown in different poses. I also wanted to keep the top part of the clothing in the style of the “uniform” worn by Holozing healers.
Bueno, sé que no es una referencia, pero si me inspire en estos dos personajes para crear mi OC, de Fio me gusto el estilo de shorts, tienen un estilo del desierto y un toque de explorador. Y de Forest healer este estilo de imagen donde se muestra al personaje en diferentes poses, también la parte de arriba de la ropa quería mantener un estilo de "uniforme" que usan los sanadores de holozing.
Process/Proceso
Let's begin. In my opinion, the difficulty with this type of illustration is maintaining the proportions of the character, which cannot vary much since it is the same character in the same image, only changing the pose.
In my case, I did the front and side poses. And the back, if you notice, is almost the same as the front, only inverted. It's not an exact copy, but it works well as a guide.
We do the sketch. Initially, I wasn't going to put boots on him, but rather small sports shoes, but I thought those shoes weren't suitable for the desert, so boots it is!
A cap. “Putting a cowboy hat on him would be too cliché and a bit out of holozing's style, I think.” I used the caps of other healers as a reference.
As I explained, for the clothes, I was inspired by the two characters already mentioned, and the rest of the character was a matter of experimenting until I developed the idea I had for the character.
Oh, the desert healer logo is a cactus... that was the idea I went with, because among other ideas I discarded were a cow skull, an hourglass, and one of those rolling plants you see in the desert.
For the line art, I had to reduce the brush size to 3 so that it would look “right” without such thick lines and so that I could add some details to the face.
Empezamos, Segun yo, la dificultad en este tipo de ilustraciones es mantener las proporciones del personaje no puede variar mucho pues es el mismo en la misma imagen, solo cambiando la pose.
En mi caso hice la pose del frente y de lado. y la parte de atrás si pueden notar es casi igual a la de frente solo que invertida " no es una copia exacta pero si funciona bien guiarse con ella"
Hacemos el boceto, inicialmente no le iba a poner botas mas bien unos zapatos pequeños deportivos pero pensé que esos zapatos no son adecuados para el desierto asi que botas!
Una gorra "ponerle un sombrero vaquero sería mucho cliché y se sale un poco del estilo de holozing creo". Tome como referencia las gorras de otros sanadores.
Como explique para la ropa me inspire en los dos personajes ya mencionados, y el resto del personaje fue experimentar hasta conseguir desarrollar esa idea que tenía para el personaje.
Oh, el logo de sanador del desierto es un cactus... fue la idea que tome, pues entre otras ideas descartadas tenía un cráneo de una vaca, un reloj de arena, y una de esas plantas rodantes que se ven en el desierto.
Para el lineart tuve que bajar a 3 el tamaño del pincel para que se viera "bien" sin líneas tan gruesas y poder hacer algunos detalles en el rostro.
We apply the base color. There's not much to say about this. I use the same palette that I've been using for other healers, with warm tones.
Aplicamos el color base, no hay mucho que decir de esto use la misma paleta que tengo rato usando para otros sanadores, con tonos cálidos.
Technically, it's the same character, but in practice it's drawing three bodies, so I followed the strategy of adding details to the skin layer of all the bodies as if it were one. That way I saved time instead of doing it one at a time.
Técnicamente, es el mismo personaje, pero en la práctica es dibujar 3 cuerpos, seguí la estrategia de darle detalles a la capa de la piel todos los cuerpos como si fuera uno solo. Así ahorré tiempo en lugar de hacerlo uno a la vez.
Once the details are finished, we add the panel for the character information. We also add a border for the desert logo.
Al terminar los detalles agregamos el panel para la información del personaje. tambien un borde para el logo del desierto.
To give these details, I thought of a young character who is just starting out in capturing creatures. “A Pokemon character came to mind.” Regarding her tastes, she lives in the desert and doesn't have much affinity for rainy or cold days. And well, she likes chocolate. Why? We all love chocolate, especially her.
Para dar estos detalles pensé en un personaje joven que recién inicia en la captura de creaturas. "Me vino a la mente algún personaje de pokemon". sobre sus gustos vive en el desierto no tiene mucha afinidad a los dias lluviosos o frío. y bueno le gusta el chocolate ¿porque? Todos amamos el chocolate especialmente ella.

If any other artists want to continue with this desert theme, that would be great! You even have complete freedom to draw this character.
