I thought about using "My expectations for HoloZing," as a title for this post, but I decided expectations could be too strong of a word, so I decided to go with "What I would like to see on HoloZing".
Expectations can be broken, which usually has a bad connotation and I don't believe the game will necessarily be bad if it turns out completely different from what I imagine and that's why, instead of setting my expectations, I will merely describe the things I would like to see on the game instead.
A real game and not just a chore to mine crypto
Sadly, too many web3 games end up becoming a chore, a set of tasks that people do every day to mine some crypto. The actual game ends up completely forgotten and completely buried beneath tokenomics. I would like for HoloZing to be an actual game where I can spend a few hours at a time just for the sake of it. I'm well aware that gameplay will be quite limited at first, and that is to prevent abuse while the game is still in its early stages of development, but I really hope it evolves into a full-blown game!
Different paths for different players
For a brief moment during my early 20s I was completely addicted to a game called Runescape. You may have heard of it. It was very popular some years ago and I believe it still has a strong audience to this day.
One of the things I liked the most about Runescape was the diverse skill system they had in place. There were a number of different skills such as woodcutting, mining, smelting, magic, combat and others. If a player wanted to put the time and effort they could master all of them but, because the way the game economy worked, it was also perfectly possible for a player to focus on a few selected skills and still thrive in the game.
I don't know if there will be a skill system in HoloZing but I hope there is something that allows for players to thrive in different ways, should they choose to. Perhaps some will prefer to specialize in PvP, while others will take the PvE route. Maybe some people will decide to invest their time in crafting items and make a living selling their craft to other players. What if trainers (or healers, I guess) could specialize in one particular type of creature?
There are many game design possibilities here! I hope the team finds one that leaves room for varied play styles.
Gameplay first, tokenomics second
This may sound redundant with my first point but I believe it's important to stress this as much as possible: I really want a fun game!
Of course, tokenmoics matter and it's important that the team find ways to make sure the game is sustainable and profitable both for players and the project itself, but that should be secondary, in my honest opinion.
There are many ways to make money in crypto but, in my experience, not as many games that are actually fun to play.
To me, the ultimate test would be a simple question: "Would I still play this game if the play2earn element was removed?"
If the answer is yes, then the project is on the right track. If not, well... back to the drawing board!
Conclusion
As you can see, my focus was on broader aspects of the game and not on details such as actual gameplay, lore or graphics. Don't get me wrong, I do think those things matter but I'm a lot more "flexível" with those so I decided to concentrate on the things that will really be the key factors when to me when deciding whether or not I will continue to play and/or invest in the game.

Eu pensei em usar "Minhas expectativas para o HoloZing" como o título para esse post, mas decide queue expectativas poderia ser uma palavra muito forte, então decide USA "O que eu gostaria de ver no HoloZing."
Expectativas podem ser quebradas, o que normalmente tem uma conotação ruim e eu não acredito que o jogo será necessariamente ruim ainda que acabe sendo completamente different do que eu imagino e é por isso que, ao invés de criar expectativas, eu vou meramente descrever as coisas que eu gostaria de ver no jogo.
Um jogo real e não apenas uma tarefa pra minerar cripto
Infelizmente, muitos jogos da web3 acabam see tornado um fardo, uma série de tarefas que as pessoas fazem todos os dias pra minerar um pouco de cripto. O jogo em si acaba sendo completamente esquecido e enterrado em baixo da tokenomics. Eu gostaria que o HoloZing fosse um jogo de verdade no qual eu possa gastar algumas horas de cada vez só pelo prazer de jogar. Eu sei bem que a jogabilidade será bastante limitada no início, e isso é pra prevenir qualquer tipo de abuso enquanto o jogo ainda está nas fases iniciais de desenvolvimento, mas eu realmente espero que ele evolua para um jogo de verdade!
Diferentes caminhos para diferentes jogadores
Por um breve momento durante meus 20 e poucos anos, eu fui completamente viciado em um ogo chamado Runescape. Você deve ter ouvido falar dele. Era extremamente popular alguns anos atrás e acredito que ainda hoje tenha uma base de jogadores consistente.
Uma das coisas que eu mais gostava sobre o Runescape era a diversidade do sistema de habilidades que ele tinha. Tinha um grande número de diferentes habilidades como cortar madeira, mineração, forja, magia, combat e outras. Se um jogador quisesse investir tempo e esforço, ele poderia dominar todas elas mas, por causa do modo como a economia do jogo funcionava, também era perfeitamente possível para um jogador see concentrar em um conjunto seleto de habilidades e ainda assim triunfar no jogo.
Eu não sei se haverá um sistema de habilidades no HoloZing mas eu espero que tenha alguma coisa que permita os jogadores terem sucesso de diferentes formats, caso assim escolham. Talvez alguns irão preferir se especializar em PvP, enquanto outros escolherão o caminho PvE. Talvez algumas pessoas decidam investir seu tempo em crafting e ganharão a vida vendendo seus produtos a outros jogadores. E se os treinadores (ou healers, acredito) pudessem se especializar em um tipo particular de criatura?
Existem muitas possibilidades de game design aqui! Eu espero que a equipe encontre alguma que deixe espaço para os mais variados estilos de jogo.
Jogabilidade em primeiro, tokenomics depois
Talvez isso some redundante com o meu primeiro ponto mas eu acredito que é muito importante reforçar esse ponto tanto quanto possível: eu realmente quero um jogo divertido!
É claro que a tokenomics é importante, assim como é importante que a equipe encontre maneiras de garantir que o jogo seja sustentável e lucrativo tanto para os jogadores quanto para o projeto em si, mas isso deveria ser secundário em minha opinião.
Existem muitas maneiras de ganhar dinheiro com cripto, mas, na minha experiência, não existem tantos jogos assim que são realmente divertidos de jogar.
Para mim, o tested definitive seria uma simples questão: "Eu ainda jogaria esse jogo se o aspect play2earn fosse removido?
Se a resposta for sim, então o projeto está no caminho certo. Se não, bem... de volta à prancheta!
Conclusão
Como você pode ver, meu foco foi em aspectos mais gerais do jogo e não em detalhes como jogabilidade, lore ou gráficos. Não me entenda mal, eu acho que essas coisas são importantes mas eu sou muito mais "flexível" em relação a elas e por isso eu decidi me concentrar nas coisas que realmente serão fatores chaves quando chegar a hora de decidir se eu continuarei ou não a jogar e/ou investir no jogo.
