Improving Delegation Rewards
So while the AWESOME token is doing fantastic and is delivering over 500% APR since it's launch, rewards to HP delegators is a bit on the low side.
We pay out 2 tokens to delegators currently, ALIVE and CTP, and with this also comes that we are quite dependent on how they are performing on the market.
We also buy ALIVE and CTP with half our weekly liquid Hive earnings, and the other half goes to buy dividends paying tokens to grow our passive income with.
Now the question is how do we best improve rewards to HP delegators with the resources we have?
Here is the plan that we suggest.
- To continuously buy AWESOME tokens with earnings on @thisisawesome throughout the week, this will allow us to tap into the growth of that token, and note that we are using @awesomecuration to do the trading for the token peg.
- Once it is time for the weekly payout we sell 2 thirds of those AWESOME tokens, and use the Hive we get the same way as before.
- The AWESOME tokens we have left will then be paid out to HP delegators in addition to the ALIVE and CTP that we also pay out.
This way we are able to both tap into the growth of our Hive Power which is backing the Token Value for the AWESOME token, plus we are also paying out more to HP delegators.
After having implemented this we will also start looking at possibilities to pay out other tribe tokens as well.
