This is the story of a journey.
A journey of 625kms or 9:34hrs on train and bus, through farmland, dry forest, rainforest, fire burnt earth, over mountains, round bends, down hills, along the coastline, over rivers, past lakes and through the bush and up into the sky, all the while collecting clouds of all kinds along the way.
And so this journey collecting clouds is my entry into the #131st edition of the Love The Clouds' Contest by the totally cool and charming @tobetada and if you too want to share your lovely and love for the clouds with us, then click on this link to find out how! @tobetada/welcome-to-the-love-the-clouds-contest-131
The start of the journey, where exactly 2years ago, this area experienced the WORST bushfire in the history of recorded bushfires in Australia, and I'm sure that below the clouds, the earth still looks leafless, black and scorched...
From bright, dry hot sunlight, with a couple of clouds peaking over the mountains out west
And down over the mountain to the Genoa farming flats below
And then after crossing the NSW/Victorian border, into the tiny town of Cann River for a 30min lunch stop to see these incredible and so diverse looking clouds, the epic, heaving looking clouds coming from the north-west and the light angel clouds calmly floating in the heat to the South East.
And then back on the bus again for another 6 hours travel south, zooming past the plains north of Bairnsdale to reach the halfway point and get off the bus and onto the train.
And then from here on in, it's a bit of a cloudy blur....π€£
Thanks Google for helping me show everyone around the world what outstanding natural and contrasting beauty this route takes me https://www.google.com/maps/dir/melbourne/Bega,+New+South+Wales+2550/@-37.4364624,146.3103449,430197m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x6ad646b5d2ba4df7:0x4045675218ccd90!2m2!1d144.9630576!2d-37.8136276!1m5!1m1!1s0x6b3c298937a9ede7:0x40609b490440630!2m2!1d149.8432479!2d-36.6742897
