When I first started playing Soulkeep, I thought it was just a simple defensive game. But as soon as I entered the first level, I realized how much this game requires focus and tactics. In this stage, I relied entirely on the Gloom Owl tower, which was truly excellent at dealing with flying enemies. Its attacks were quick and good, and it really helped me get through the first level without any major problems.
But when I reached the second level, the situation changed completely. The waves became more difficult the enemies became more fast and each wave tried to break the defense in any way possible to get to the gate. Here, I decided to try a new tower, and my choice fell on Fountain of Terror, which was a surprise to me.
This tower looks good on its own, but what's even more impressive is its actual power. The first thing that caught my eye was that it focuses on a single target at a time meaning it's very focused on killing a single enemy quickly .
The thing that excited me most about it was its striking range. It can strike from a very long distance, from 190 to 335, making it ideal for corners or areas that other towers can't reach. Its strike rate is 1.4 seconds, which is very reasonable considering the damage it deals. This tower deals very high physical damage ranging from 110 to 195, enough to stop even the strongest Fiend coming your way in the battle.
And what's even more exciting? It can also hit Flying Targets making it a fairly complete tower, useful for more than one type of attack.
Honestly, Fountain of Terror was the main reason I was able to complete the second level. I feel like I'm now ready to tackle the next challenge with a stronger strategy and a deeper experience.
