Hey my fellow community comrades, nice to see you guys again.
This time i'm about to tell you guys about my first 2 weeks on Splinterlands
I started by the indication of a friend and got really hooked into the game, i enjoyed the game for it's dinamic gameplay and nice designs, it seemed like an easy game at first but as i was climbing the ranks i started to struggle and noticed the complexity of this great game. Here's the link for it in case you don't know it yet https://splinterlands.com/
I started playing with the Fire composition, because it looked to me as a new player as a strong one (until i met that crazy immortal Unicorn Mustang and had to change it 😫) i started using the Summoner Pyre
I built most of my comps with Cerberus in the last position to defend from sneak attacks,it's a really tanky card and has a really cool design! I used this one also because i love dogs and it looks like my dog Mujica haha
(Here's Mujica in case you got curious)
(don't you think it looks like him?)
To do damage i used a lot of times the card Fire elemental, it's a great card because it does damage to more than one card, but it's pretty expensive, so i couldn't use it everytime, but when i used it got really good results, it's really fun to see the fire spreading on the cards in the back (but i don't like when it happens to me though)
Another card i used was the Fire Beetle, a card that costs only 3 mana so i used almost every time, it does a decent ammount of damage and tank a little bit, so it's a good card for the mana cost.
Another card i liked to use in this composition is the Serpentine Spy, it does a lot of damage
and focus the enemy with the lowest health, so it's perfect for assassination of fragile targets, just like a Ninja!
For the main tank i use Living Lava, it has a shield passive for melee and ranged attacks,i believe is the best initial tank for the Fire composition, it's a little bit weak against magic though. The card looks really cool to and reminds me of the character Cinder from Killer Instinct series, but a little bit muscled up, kinda like Cinder plus The Thing from the Fantastic Four.
Another card i like to use is the Spark Pixies, because it does some nice damage and has an increased chance of evading Melee and Ranged attacks, it's a little bit expensive manawise but it does it's job really well
In one of the Chests i received an interesting card the Venari Heatsmith, it has a really cool design of a forging mouse and some tankiness, because it has a passive that makes magic damage hit it's armor before the life, i used it sometimes but didn't get great results, maybe it was in the wrong composition, but this is a fun thing about the game, you're always discovering a new comp and getting new cards.
In another Chest i got this other card, named Charlok Minotaur. It was a skill that make him hit every attack, i guess it's good against the Water tank Serpent of Eld, because it counters his skill that has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks. I Used it sucessfully a couple times.
(this a great and strong Water card, i call it "the Great Sea Spaghetti", lost several battles to it 😔 )
I often use these cards alternating by the quantity of mana i have, there are other ones that i use sometimes when there is some spare of mana, but these are my go to cards, What do you guys think of my build, i accept improvement suggestions. I'm starting to invest more in the game and looking forward to buy stronger cards, because if i really want to climb the ranks i'll need a better deck and there are some sick cards too, with beautiful and unique designs, i see them in the market and want them all!
So this is i guys, my brief post about the first comp i used to Spam in Splinterlands, i'll show my next ones soon. Good bye!
