Hello splinter boys and girls living in the Splinterverse, hope you all are enjoying the new reward mechanism and the modern and wild formats in Splinterlands with the great opportunity of dozen of loot chests everyday and hundreds of loot chests at the end of season! I am also enjoying it very much and playing Splinterlands everyday.
This is my entry in Weekly Battle Challenge with the DRAGON MONSTERS which are my favorite in the game. I have already posted some blogs about the DRAGONS decks which can be helpful for you guys and you can check those in my previous blogs. This week I am going to talk about the amazing DRAGON monster DJINN CHWALA.This card is a member of the newly released CHAOS LEGION REWARD CARDS set. In my battle, I will reveal how the card is performing in such a match against one of the most powerful enemy in the WILD FORMAT of Splinterlands: FIRE SUMMONER. This match was a defeating one for me but with the excellent performance of the my awesome dragon monsters: I won the match. And that's why I couldn't resist myself from sharing this amazing battle with you.
Another important thing is to notice here that I have use 6 DRAGONS including my favorite summoner "QUIX THE DEVIOUS" and only one water monsters. I want to reveal that how the modern DRAGONS can defeat a max WILD teams! I hope this battle will make you confident to prepare for defeating the WILDS teams effectively. And also it is not a high MANA match as the previous DRAGONS were very MANA expensive but now there are many cheap MANA DRAGONS in modern format, So such strtategy can be very helpful for the new players like me. And that's why I am trying to grab all the new DRAGONS to max out!
This DRAGON MONSTER is a fantastic card with the excellent ability of THORNES at level 1 and ENRAGE at level 4, I can say that it is one of the best EPIC cards among the new REWARD SET! And it is also very cheap to max out the level, but soon it will be gone out like the old reward cards!
This card is an excellent card with moderate mana which will cost you only 8 MANA with the amazing number of HEARTs and ARMORs.
I have chosen this card because of the following reasons-
It has some excellent abilities like THORNES which is an amazing ability against the MELEE attacks and this card offers from the level 1.
Also the ENRAGE will offer increased ATTACKS after losing some hearts with the increasing speed which will be devastating for the ENEMY TANK!
This card is one of the cheapest card to enjoy these fascinating abilities.
In the any ruleset these abilities with 8 MANA cost in any match is amazing.
In this battle I have also used the legendary CL Dragon summoner which is one of my favorite SUMMONER QUIX THE DEVIOUS which do excellent job by reducing one RANGE ATTACK and 1 speed of all the enemy monsters. The reduced 1 RANGE ATTACK is amazing against any teams in Splinterlands.

Let's dive into The Battle
My battle was a 29 MANA battle with the HOLY PROTECTION and the CLOSE RANGE rulesets. And I have chosen my LEGENDARY DRAGON summoner QUIX THE DEVIOUS (level 3) as my summoner. I chose it because my other summoners are in lower level for low MANA matches. And as now I am playing in the GOLD LEAGUE, that's why I prefer this summoner in my team! Also my opponent was playing with any team will lose range attacks and speed by 1 which makes this DRAGON summoner is the best option for the BATTEL!
My monster positions
As I expected the enemy team with the WILD FIRE team monsters with the with one increasing MELEE attack. I chose the QUIX THE DEVIOUS as the summoner it offers decreasing the SPEEDS and the RANGE ATTACK. I also like this because of the max out version in my league so that I can use my higher levels monsters for the match!
I have chosen the DRAGON monster DJINN CHWALA as my primary TANK! as it is very cheap and it has a solid health with the significant number of ARMORs with some excellent abilities of THORNES and ENRAGE so that the MELEE attackers will get 2 MELEE attacks after attacking it and it's stats will increase due to the ENRAGE ability. As MANA cost is important issue here because of only 29 MANA match and I need to be careful in spending the MANA without any solid reason and this DRAGON is amazing.
For my second monster lineup, I have chosen the great dragon monster TWILIGHT BASILIsK. It is an awesome monster with the amazing ability of REACH and the STUN ability with a high speed! And so it can attack from the second position and make the primary TANK stopped by applying the STUN ability.
My third monster is another super dragon monster DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR with its excellent ability of SNEAK, DOUBLE STRIKE and the CRIPPLE which will make this monster an excellent attacker two times a round. And it destroy the enemy team from the back line up of enemy's team.
My fourth monster is another 3 MANA super speedy monster PELACOR BANDIT with the outstanding ability of SNEAK and the FLYING so it can attack the last enemy monster and poison it each round which will kill any monster. This card is amazing for low MANA battles! The speed and the flying will have much more dodging effect from MELEE and RANGE attacks also.
My fifth monster is another 4 MANA dragon monster FIRE SPITTER with the good ability of FLYING with great speed with two RANGE attacks.
My last monster is one of the best low MANA dragon monster NAGA ASSASSIN with the excellent ability of BACKFIRE with super speed and 2 RANGE attacks. This monster is awesome with very low MANA and it can damage the enemy's SNEAK ATTACKER with the BACKFIRE ability!
My battle
When I saw the FIRE TEAM with max WILD CARDS, I though I am going to loose the battle as usual. But my DRAGONS have done excellent jobs, especially the DRAGON monster DJINN CWALA did outstanding performance by the THORNES and the ENRAGE ability. Also my dragon summoner decrease one RANGE attack of all the enemy monsters having RANGE attacks and the DJINN CHWALA absorbed a lot of attacks in the BATTLE!
My first tank was doing great job here because of it's THORNES AND ENRAGE. IT did excellent damage to the first three main TANK of the enemy team which is amazing! Though the CLOSE RANGE ruleset was trouble some for me but my team did outstanding job here!
Finally I win the match as the DJINN CHWALA and other DRAGONs were amazing! Though it’s a uncertain winning match but my team did amazing job.
Most importantly, now all the new players can afford this excellent DRAGON MONSTERS with the excellent ability of THORNES AND ENRAGE with the DRAGON MONSTER DJINN CHWALA and many more with the others at very cheap cost. And these cards can be great cards for any league level in Splinterlands game!

Result
Finally the amazing victory of my team was surprising for me and I got the idea of the THORNES, ENRAGE ability with the amazing dodging with flying monsters with higher speed which can lead to an amazing win!
I got 4.749 DEC and 11,986 R-shares from the battle reward by adding 20 trophies.
