Hay momentos de la vida donde nos corresponde hacer una pausa y reencontrarse con uno mismo. Despejar la mente y solo respirar; además, cambiar de ambiente, mantenerse un poco alejado de la computadora y el celular.

¿Cómo se dio la oportunidad? / How did you get the opportunity?
La semana pasada recibí una invitación de una prima para que la visitara en Caracas, a quien tenía casi 3 años sin ver. Es increíble como viviendo a 2 horas de distancia, la cotidianidad, la rutina, entre otros factores, te absorben de tal manera, que nos alejamos de la familia por razones que no tienen nada que ver con la migración.
En principio más allá de querer, era que no tenía suficiente dinero para los pasajes y cualquier otro gasto que implicara una salida. Mi prima insistió y hasta me apoyó con la logística para el traslado. En el pasado quizás por la pena y otros sentimientos no identificados, me hubiera negado; sin embargo, hace algún tiempo aprendí a recibir buenas nuevas, porque sé que también eso le traerá bendiciones a quien decida darlo.
Last week I received an invitation from a cousin to visit her in Caracas, whom I had almost 3 years without seeing. It is incredible how living 2 hours away, the daily life, the routine, among other factors, absorb you in such a way, that we move away from the family for reasons that have nothing to do with migration.
In principle, beyond wanting to, it was that I did not have enough money for the tickets and any other expenses that would imply a departure. My cousin insisted and even supported me with the logistics for the move. In the past perhaps because of grief and other unidentified feelings, I would have refused; however, some time ago I learned to receive good news, because I know that it too will bring blessings to whoever decides to give it.
Mi reencuentro con la Capital / My reunion with the Capital
De alguna forma cada vez que voy a Caracas, la cual llamo "caóticamente hermosa" es una renovación de mi mente, de mi espíritu, pues me fui de ella en contra de mi voluntad y por razones de causa mayor.
Mi ciudad de nacimiento es grande y estaba relativamente a otro extremo, en una zona muy popular conocida como: Caricuao. El clima frío y fresco que lo caracteriza se afianzó más por sus continuas lluvias durante 3 días justo a las 2 pm.
Sentirme escuchada y comprendida fue un gran alivio para mí en estos casi 4 días. También compartir con el hijo de mi prima, a quien consentí mucho cuando era un niño y ya tiene 13 años fue muy gratificante. Jugamos dominó y otro juego de palabras que hay distintas categorías para adivinar, la pasamos genial.
Somehow every time I go to Caracas, which I call "chaotically beautiful" is a renewal of my mind, of my spirit, because I left it against my will and for reasons of greater cause.
My city of birth is large and was relatively far away, in a very popular area known as: Caricuao. The cold and cool weather that characterizes it was further entrenched by its continuous rains for 3 days just at 2 pm.
Feeling listened to and understood was a great relief for me in these almost 4 days. Also sharing with my cousin's son, whom I spoiled a lot when he was a child and is now 13 years old was very rewarding. We played dominoes and another word game that there are different categories to guess, we had a great time.

Sí, no puedo negar que extrañaba a Hive, pero quise una desconexión completa. No obstante, a veces pensaba si escribía desde la aplicación y no desde la lapto (la cual dejé en casa); pero mi musa creadora se había ido de vacaciones también.
También pensaba en que el 01 de octubre era el evento de el Power Up y muy probable que no estuviese; sin embargo, ayer domingo en un ratico, encendí todas mis ganancias de 1 mes y hoy decidí retomar mi blog para continuar creciendo en esta hermosa plataforma.
Yes, I can't deny that I missed Hive, but I wanted a complete disconnect. However, sometimes I thought if I wrote from the app and not from the lapto (which I left at home); but my creative muse had gone on vacation too.
I was also thinking that October 01 was the Power Up event and most likely I would not be there; however, yesterday Sunday in a little while, I turned on all my earnings of 1 month and today I decided to resume my blog to continue growing on this beautiful platform.
¿Qué reflexiones me trajo estos días de pausa? / What reflections brought me these days of pause?
- Esta retroalimentación que tuvimos mi prima y yo, me hizo darme cuenta que todos tenemos diferentes tipos de problemas y lo importante es reconocerlos para buscar una solución a ellos.
- El entorno puede que no te permita crecer o nublar el sentido común ante ciertas cosas, lamento admitir que eso me afecta en mi evolución.
- Aunque sé desde hace tiempo que es necesario tomar medidas con mis hábitos alimenticios, fue algo que se hizo énfasis en mi mente por varios días. Además verme con otros especialistas.
- Si nos sentimos mal, es necesario expresarlo de alguna forma, en primera instancia: conversar con alguien, escribir, meditar, caminar, algo que nos ayude a hacer catarsis y si es muy complejo, buscar ayuda de un profesional de la salud mental con credenciales verificables.
- En la parte profesional, es mi deseo publicar mi poemario, ampliar mis conocimientos sobre redacción SEO, buscar y crear las oportunidades para un trabajo freelancer.
- This feedback that my cousin and I had, made me realize that we all have different types of problems and the important thing is to recognize them to find a solution to them.
- The environment may not allow you to grow or cloud your common sense in the face of certain things, I regret to admit that this affects me in my evolution.
