Para acompañar la iniciativa de @damarysvibra “Afecto y Automotivación” quisiera comenzar definiendo la palabra “motivación”, nos dice el diccionario de la Real Academia: “acción y efecto de motivar”, “Conjunto de factores internos o externos que determinan en parte las acciones de una persona”. Por lo tanto, si la motivación está conformada por un conjunto de factores que determinan en parte el curso de nuestras acciones, es algo muy importante en nuestras vidas. Puede hacer que nuestra vida avance, que nuestra vida nos haga feliz, nos haga sentirnos plenos. Es ese motor que nos mueve para alcanzar nuestras metas, para lograr el afecto de una persona, para unirnos a otros y lograr cambios positivos para nuestra comunidad.

Pero lo contrario también es cierto, la falta de motivación nos paraliza, impide que logremos nuestras metas, puede influir en que perdamos el afecto de las personas que amamos. Hay personas que pueden automotivarse para alcanzar metas, para generar cambios positivos en su vida, porque tienen confianza en sí mismos, se sienten capaces de superar los obstáculos, tienen claro hacia dónde quieren ir, qué necesitan hacer, no se detienen ante las dificultades. Los líderes son capaces de motivar también a otros para alcanzar sus metas o una meta común de un grupo de personas, las apoyan, las guían, pero sobre todo les transmiten el entusiasmo para alcanzar su meta.

Sin embargo, hay personas para las cuales el trabajo en equipo es motivador, poder compartir ideas y experiencias las inspira, la relación afectiva con otras personas es un motor poderoso para ellas. Su concepto de autoestima se alimenta, se potencia, en contacto con su equipo. lo cual también es muy válido. Porque desde la antigüedad, ya lo decía Platón, los seres humanos somos seres sociales. Podemos decir, entonces, que una idea no contradice a la otra, que la autoestima y la automotivación pueden estar perfectamente vinculadas con el afecto, con el trabajo en equipo.

Leaders are also able to motivate others to achieve their goals or a common goal of a group of people, they support them, guide them, but above all they transmit the enthusiasm to achieve their goal.
