It seems easy to make, with the fabric I have at home I will make one this weekend for my son, one of my classmates heard me and told the instructor what I had said, I didn't say it so they would hear me, I was talking to myself, in a few minutes I already had the pattern in my hands and the commitment to bring the homework on Monday, when I tried to speak to explain, the instructor said; _don't worry, you can do it, I'm sure it will look spectacular, I was a little scared and wanted to complain to the girl who informed her about my plans to make a sweater for my son, after thinking about it I decided to take on the challenge and do it as best as possible.
I arrived home very excited and with many ideas to make the sweater, in class I had understood the whole process of elaboration, or at least that was what I thought, I looked for the fabrics, marked and cut all the pieces and I got to work, I assembled the sweater, I glued the sleeves and pocket, up to there everything was fine, the difficulty came when gluing the hood, I had never made a sweater like that before and I tried to glue the hood like a collar and obviously it didn't work, I unstitched several times and when I was about to give up, I said to myself: -you can do it! you just need to find a way to attach the hood, it shouldn't be that difficult, I put away the sweater and left it for the next day, I carefully reviewed my notes, read them several times and to be sure I called the instructor and told her that I had difficulty attaching the hood, I also told her about my notes and broadly explained how I thought I would attach it according to my notes, she with her characteristic smile said: -_exactly that's right, you can even put a lining on it, I thanked her for her time and resumed my task, I couldn't believe that something so simple had caused me so much stress, when I saw the finished sweater I felt very happy and satisfied, it was worth the effort and the self-motivation of not giving up, talking to myself paid off haha.
Feliz y bendecida semana amigos de @holos-lotus, ya está por terminar el mes de julio e iniciar el período de vacaciones escolares, deseo que el mes de agosto venga cargado de muchas bendiciones para cada hogar, que los planes y metas que aún no se han concretado puedan hacerse realidad; esta es mi entrada para la iniciativa Confiesa: ¡Tú también hablas solo! -Y Puede ser un Buen Síntoma de Gran Creatividad, el título me pareció gracioso, lo confieso, sí hablo sola, hablar sola lo considero una terapia, que en muchas ocasiones me ha servido para darme animo y motivarme, durante un módulo del curso de costura la instructora explicó como hacer un suéter con capucha y mostró el que ella había hecho, me gustó mucho el suéter y dije: _que hermoso! parece sencillo de hacer, con la tela que tengo en casa le haré uno el fin de semana a mi hijo, una de las compañeras me escuchó y le dijo a la instructora lo que yo había hablado, no lo dije para que me escucharan, estaba hablando conmigo, en pocos minutos ya tenía el patrón en mis manos y el compromiso de llevar la tarea el lunes, cuando intenté hablar para explicar, la instructora dijo; _tranquila, tu puedes hacerlo, seguro te quedará espectacular, tuve un poco de miedo y quería reclamarle a la chica que informó sobre mis planes de hacer un suéter para mi hijo, luego de pensar decidí asumir el reto y hacerlo lo mejor posible.
Llegué a casa muy emocionada y con muchas ideas para hacer el suéter, en clase había entendido todo el proceso de elaboració, o al menos era lo que creía, busqué las telas marqué y corté todas las piezas y me puse manos a la obra, ensamblé el suéter, pegué ,las mangas y bolsillo, hasta alli todo bien, la dificultad vino para pegar la capucha, nunca antes había hecho un suéter así e intenté pegar la capucha como un cuello y obviamente no resultó, descosí varias veces y cuando estaba por rendirme, me dijé: -¡tu puedes hacerlo! solo te falta encontrar la forma de pegar la capucha, no debe ser tan difícil, guardé el suéter y lo dejé para el siguiente día, minuciosamente revisé mis apuntes, los leí varias veces y para estar segura llamé a la instructora y le dije que tenía dificultad para pegar la capucha, también le comenté sobre mis apuntes y a grandes rasgos le expliqué como pensaba pegarlo según mis anotaciones, ella con su característica sonrisa dijo: -_exactamente así es, es más le puedes colocar forro, le agradecí por su tiempo y retomé mi tarea, no podía creer que algo tan sencillo me había causado tanto estrés, al ver el suéter terminado me sentí muy feliz y satisfecha, valió el esfuerzo y la automotivación de no rendirme, hablar sola dio sus frutos je, je.

Regularmente cuando cocino hablo en voz alta y voy diciendo, ya hice esto, me falta aquello, ahora debo cortar los vegetales, la carne, entre otros, es una forma de llevar el control de las cosas que estoy preparando, al momento de agregar la sal también me digo ya le eché sal, o le falta un poco y así sucesivamente, es una costumbre que tengo para llevar el control de lo que estoy realizando.
Otro momento en el cual también hablo sola es en los proyectos de costura, cuando voy a iniciar un proyecto me digo lo que voy a hacer; debo coser de tal forma, pasar puntada recta, debo doblar y más, en muchas ocasiones me he encontrado hablando con la máquina de coser, explicándole que es un proyecto largo y necesito que me colabore para poder terminar, hay quienes piensan que hablar solo es síntoma de locura o de enfermedad, personalmente lo veo normal y necesario.
Yesterday when I started writing the post I remembered that at university the professor who taught the psychology subject recommended us to speak in front of the mirror out loud to practice our presentations, this way we could get an idea of how our voice sounded and if we could project it so that other classmates could hear what we were saying, another exercise that he also recommended was to practice in a closed space free of noise, this would allow us to hear our own voice and correct if we are speaking too loud or too soft, this exercise is really interesting, he suggested that the more closed and quiet the space the better because we could hear our own breathing, in fact in a course we took we did this exercise and it's incredible how we can listen to our own breathing, he always argued that we pay more attention and listen to others and not to ourselves, by listening to ourselves we can evaluate how we are speaking, how our voice is projected and how far it reaches, I think talking to yourself is a way of reflecting or thinking out loud.

El día de ayer cuando empecé a redactar el post recordé que en la universidad el profesor que dictó la asignatura de psicología nos recomendó hablar frente al espejo en voz alta para practicar las exposiciones, así podríamos tener una idea de como se escuchaba la voz y si la podíamos proyectar para que los demás compañeros pudieran escuchar lo que estábamos hablando, otro ejercicio que también nos recomendó fue practicar en un espacio cerrado libre de ruido, esto permitiría escuchar nuestra propia voz y corregir si estamos hablando muy alto o muy bajo este ejercicio realmente es interesante, sugería que mientras más cerrado y callado el espacio era mejor porque podíamos escuchar nuestra propia respiración, de hecho en un curso que hicimos realizamos este ejercicio y es increíble cómo podemos escuchar nuestra respiración, él siempre argumentaba que prestamos más atención y escuchamos a los otros y no nos escuchamos a nosotros, al escucharnos podemos evaluar como estamos hablando, como se proyecta la voz y que alcance tiene, creo que hablar solo es una forma de reflexionar o pensar en voz alta.
