La semana pasada estuvo repleta de información útil, sensaciones interesantes y emociones profundas. He avanzado mucho en mi lectura de El Conde de Monte Cristo en francés y estoy realmente orgulloso de lo fácil que me ha sido acostumbrarme a las fórmulas literarias y comprender las fascinantes formas en las que Dumás dice cosas en esta lengua que no pueden exactamente traducirse, con una suprema elegancia. La lectura ha reavivado en mi las viejas disertaciones sobre bien y mal, crimen y justicia. Además, también estoy dedicado a la creación de contenido sobre el Legendarium de Tolkien y apenas ayer logré terminar las publicaciones sobre Túrin Turambar, el personaje más trágico de toda esa mitología. Terminaré publicando esa historia por toda una semana debido a su longitud. La coherencia entre ambas historias es muy significativa.
También tuve una importante conversación con uno de mis primos acerca del respeto que se le debe tener a las mujeres y a la palabra dada, pues está comenzando una relación y aún no deja de pensar en cortejar a otras personas. Además de eso, pude comprender mejor la escala de su trabajo y me parece impresionante, él trabaja en instalación de aires acondicionados industriales y ha aprendido muchísimo con la empresa en la que está. Mientras me explicaba su visión sobre el cableado, conexión y configuración de estos sistemas, me llegó la inspiración para abordar nuevas formas de contenido que hasta ahora no había tocado por falta de experiencia en edición de video, lo cual está cambiando ahora. Espero poder compartir parte de ese nuevo contenido en esta plataforma también, aunque estará pensado sobre todo para las redes sociales usuales. En otra conversación con un amigo, apareció ante mí el nombre de un proyecto que no he desarrollado para nada, pero que se reveló como el verdadero sustento de todo lo que estoy haciendo a nivel de contenido. Incluso vi el logo que debo diseñar y ya tengo un plan sobre cómo abordar las publicaciones que haré bajo ese nombre. Todo fue sumamente fluido.
Otra nota interesante de mi visita a mi primo fue que tuve que recibir de unos vecinos de su edificio un documento que exige rendición de cuentas a la Junta de Condominio, el mismo procedimiento que tuvimos que hacer en nuestras residencias. Traté a todo el mundo con gran respeto y, a pesar de que ni mi tía ni mi primo quisieron lidiar con el asunto, mi actitud fue vista con buenos ojos y me parece que gané un acceso distinto a ese espacio debido a ella. Ësta es una extensión de una estrategia social que he estado aplicando desde hace algunos meses, que consiste en mencionarle a extraños en la calle aspectos positivos de su apariencia, especialmente a mujeres. La respuesta ha sido mayoritariamente positiva y veo que, de seguir haciéndolo, me volveré cada vez más memorable.
Last week was filled with useful information, interesting sensations and profound emotions. I've made a lot of progress in my reading of The Count of Monte Cristo in French and I'm really proud of how easy it's been to get used to the literary formulas and to understand the fascinating ways in which Dumás says things in this tongue that can't exactly be translated, with a supreme elegance. The reading has reignited in me the old dissertations about good and evil, crime and justice. I was also devoted to the creation of content about Tolkien's Legendarium and just yesterday I managed to finish the publications about Túrin Turambar, the most tragic character in all of that mythology. I'll end up posting that story throughout an entire week due to its length. The coherence between these two stories is quite significant.
I also had an important conversation with one of my cousins regarding the respect that we must have toward women and the given word, because he's starting a relationship and still doesn't stop thinking of courting other people. In addition to that, I could better understand the scale of his job and I find it amazing, he works in the installation of industrial air conditioner services and has learned quite a lot with the company that employs him. While he explained to me his vision about the wiring, connection and setup of these systems, I received the inspiration to take on new forms of content that I haven't touched thus far due to lack of experience with video editing, which I'm changing right now. I hope to be able to share this new content on this platform too, although it'll be mostly geared up for the usual social networks. In another conversation with a friend, the name of a project that I haven't developed at all appeared in me, and it revealed itself as the true sustenance for everything that I'm doing content-wise. I even saw the logo that I must design and I already have a plan about how to approach the publications that I'll make under that name. Everything was very fluid.
Another interesting note of my visit to my cousin was that I had to receive from a few neighbors of the building a document demanding accountability from the Condominium, the same procedure that we had to undertake in our own residences. I treated everyone with great respect and, although neither my aunt nor my cousin wanted to deal with the matter, my attitude was seen with approval and I think I earned a different degree of access due to it. This is an extension of a social strategy that I've been applying for the past few months, which consists in pointing out to strangers positive aspects of their appearance, especially women. The response has been mostly positive and I see, if I keep doing this, I'll become increasingly memorable.
El viernes decidí cortarme el cabello luego de unos seis meses de dejarlo crecer. Lo cierto es que me hubiese gustado dejarlo largo por un rato más, pero es extraordinariamente impráctico en gasto de recursos, y el cabello corto me agrada más de todos modos. Acá también pude ver el impacto de esta actitud amable con la gente. Pedí en la barbería que me atendiese un barbero en particular, a pesar de que tuve que esperar más de media hora a que terminase con otro cliente, habiendo otros trabajadores libres. El resultado fue un corte bien hecho e incluso una posibilidad de entablar otra relación con ese barbero, quien me parece atractivo.
El sábado en la mañana narré a niños de nuevo en la Biblioteca de Los Palos Grandes. Me gustó que las historias de los otros narradores y las mías exhibieron una sutil pero poderosa coherencia entre sí. La sesión estaba dedicada a la ciudad de Caracas por la pronta celebración de sus 458 años, y yo tengo una larga narrativa asociada a esta ciudad que no me tomó mucho tiempo convocar para inspirar a otros a llamar la Maravilla a nuestro país. Luego de esta actividad, fui al entrenamiento de combate y, por primera vez, tuve un entrenamiento serio en boxeo. Me gustó la experiencia bastante porque exigió mucho de mí y creo que será muy útil para mi salud física y mental. El boxeo puede parece sencillo, pero es sumamente exigente, requiere buena capacidad respiratoria y la adopción de posturas corporales distintas a la esgrima, que traen consigo ventajas de perspectiva y flexibilización. Es una disciplina mucho más activa y de mayor agresión en virtud de su nivel de contacto, la cercanía al adversario que demanda. Creo que voy a comenzar a entrenar ésto más regularmente, aunque no tengo los equipos en casa, puedo usar mis propias herramientas para hacer un trabajo rendidor que me prepare para clases más serias. Llevo dos semanas haciendo flexiones diarias, la primera la cerré con 240 flexiones y la segunda con 350. Hoy comenzaré a hacerlas con peso (unos 10 kg extra) y buscaré hacer más de 210.
On Friday, I decided to get a haircut after about six months of letting my hair grow. The fact is that I would've liked to let it grow for a bit longer, but it's extraordinarily impractical in terms of expenditure of resources, and I like the short hair better anyway. Here too I was able to see the impact of this kind attitude with people. I asked at the barbershop for one particular barber, even though I had to wait over half an hour for him to finish with another customer, having other options in the place. The result was a well-done haircut and even the possibility of promoting a different relationship with the barbet, whom I find attractive.
On Saturday morning, I narrated for children again at the Los Palos Grandes Library. I enjoyed that the stories of the other storytellers and my own exhibited a subtle but powerful coherence between them. The session was dedicated to the city of Caracas because of the coming celebration of its 458th anniversary, and I have a long narrative associated with this city that didn't take me long to invoke in order to inspire others to call the Wonder upon our country. After this activity, I went to the combat training and, for the first time, I had a serious training with boxing. I liked the experience a lot because it demanded quite a bit from me and I think it'll be very useful for my physical and mental health. Boxing may seem simple, but it's truly demanding, it requires a good breathing capacity and the adoption of stances different from those in fencing, which bring advantages in perspective and flexibilization. I think I'm going to start training this more regularly, although I don't have the equipment at home, I can use my own tools to make profitable work that may prepare me for more serious classes. I've been doing daily pushups for two weeks, I closed the first one at 240 pushups and the second at 350. Today I'll start doing them with weight (some 10 kg extra) and I'll see to make it to 210.
Estoy ya en la recta final de mi primer evento formal de rol, que tendrá lugar el sábado 19 en Sabana Grande. Me emociona y a la vez, puedo sentir el miedo y la ansiedad de que no logre los objetivos. Es algo natural, nunca he tenido que manejar un evento propio en un lugar que no conozco, y de la producción de dinero para el local en esta ocasión depende su uso en futuros eventos. Más tarde, al terminar este artículo, haré una meditación para profundizar en los escenarios poco agradables que mi mente está manejando, y así agotarlos para manifestar sólo lo que me interesa, que es el éxito rotundo de la propuesta.
Ahhh, y el mismo sábado, antes de salir de mi edificio, una señora me pidió que le "hiciese magia" a otra habitante del edificio y le saqué una Runa, la primera que le saco a alguien de estas residencias fuera de mis hermanas y de mi trabajo en casa. Eso me pareció tremendamente importante y creo que podría abrirme el camino de las consultas.

I'm already on the final stretch of my first formal roleplaying event, which will take place this Saturday 19th in Sabana Grande. I'm excited and at the same time I can feel the fear and anxiety of not accomplishing the goals. It's natural, I've never had to manage an event of my own in a place that I don't know well, and the use of this establishment for future events depends on how much money they can produce. Later, after finishing this article, I'll do a meditation to go deeper into the less pleasant scenarios that my mind is joggling, so that I can exhaust them and manifest only that which interests me, the complete success of this proposal.
Ahhh, and also on Saturday, before going out of my building, a lady asked me to "do magic" to another inhabitant of the building and I pulled a Rune for her, the first that I pull for someone in these residences outside of my sisters and my work at home. I think that's tremendously important and it could open the way for me to do readings here.
