Día a día y a lo largo de la vida escuchamos mucho las frases "yo me conozco o yo sé cómo soy", pero cuando vamos y analizamos bien esa frase ¿realmente nos conocemos o sabemos cómo somos?, puede que si, puede que no, pero lo cierto es que la mayoría de las veces no tenemos la consciencia exacta de como somos; quizás en la mayoría de las ocasiones nos vamos por algo muy genérico, pero no nos damos a la tarea de conocer realmente lo que nos afecta de manera positiva y negativa, el porqué de ello, nuestra actitud y aptitud ante ciertas situaciones, es algo muy profundo que más de uno se va a quedar pensando si hace esa pequeña introspección.
Day by day and throughout life we hear a lot the phrases "I know myself or I know how I am", but when we go and analyze well that phrase do we really know ourselves or know how we are?, maybe yes, maybe no, but the truth is that most of the times we do not have the exact conscience of how we are; perhaps in most of the occasions we go for something very generic, but we do not give ourselves to the task of really knowing what affects us in a positive and negative way, the reason of it, our attitude and aptitude before certain situations, it is something very deep that more than one is going to be left thinking if he/she makes that small introspection.
Creo que muchas veces nos conoces más las otras personas que nosotros mismos, ellos ven otras perspectivas que nosotros no, pues como humanos y seres orgullosos no nos gusta escuchar nada malo que se trate de nosotros. Esto suele suceder con mucha gente y a veces puede ser un arma muy letal para la persona que no se conoce así misma, porque simplemente otro se puede aprovechar y manipular hasta que ellos quieran.
I think that many times you know other people better than you know yourself, they see other perspectives that we don't, because as humans and proud beings we don't like to hear anything bad about ourselves. This tends to happen with many people and sometimes it can be a very lethal weapon for the person who does not know themselves, because someone else can simply take advantage of them and manipulate them until they want to.
Conocerse a uno mismo es un proceso que jamás culmina, estamos en continúa evolución y en pocas ocasiones solemos ser las mismas personas con el pasar del tiempo. En muchos aspectos de la vida vivimos sin consciencia, eso debe cambiar, parte vital del desarollo personal es tener consciencia para ubicarnos en tiempo y espacio.
El aceptar nuestra realidad nos va a ayudar a asimilar muchas cosas a las que quizás estábamos renuentes; debemos tener en cuenta que es algo muy común no aceptar cosas que dañen nuestra imagen, más si se trata de una persona que se coloca una coraza para protegerse del mundo voraz; entonces no va a ser muy continúo el ver a sujetos asumir su realidad tal cual es.
Knowing oneself is a process that never ends, we are in continuous evolution and in few occasions we tend to be the same people with the passing of time. In many aspects of life we live without consciousness, that must change, a vital part of personal development is to be aware to locate ourselves in time and space.
Accepting our reality will help us to assimilate many things to which we may have been reluctant; we must keep in mind that it is very common not to accept things that damage our image, especially if it is a person who puts on a shell to protect himself from the voracious world; then it will not be very continuous to see people assume their reality as it is.
Tengo muchas amistades que niegan quienes son, niegan si esencia y espíritu, eso no está bien, no me engañan a mí, no engañan al mundo, se engañan así mismos, pero no lo ven así. Estas personas suelen tener una inestabilidad emocional muy grande, viven siempre metidos y enfocados en problemas, problemas evitables si realmente se conocieran y supieran como esquivarlos.
Yo he aprendido con el tiempo a conocerme poco a poco, hay veces que aún me desconozco mucho, no me encuentro, pero he aprendido a asumir mi verdadera personalidad, mis verdaderos defectos, mis verdaderas virtudes y no esas imposiciones sociales por querer encajar en un grupo. Comencé aceptando mis defectos, hice una introspección sobre ciertas cosas que ocurrían en mi vida y dije ya va, que pase recurrentemente en diferentes ámbitos y escenarios no es normal, quizás hay un problema en mi, y así fue. Antes me negaba mucho a aceptarlo, pero hoy día no me da pena conmigo mismo asimilar que soy así y asao.
I have many friends who deny who they are, they deny their essence and spirit, that is not right, they are not fooling me, they are not fooling the world, they are fooling themselves, but they do not see it that way. These people usually have a very great emotional instability, they live always involved and focused on problems, avoidable problems if they really knew themselves and knew how to avoid them.
I have learned over time to know myself little by little, there are times when I still do not know myself, I do not find myself, but I have learned to assume my true personality, my real flaws, my true virtues and not those social impositions for wanting to fit into a group. I started by accepting my defects, I made an introspection about certain things that happened in my life and I said that's it, that it happens recurrently in different areas and scenarios is not normal, maybe there is a problem in me, and that's how it was. Before I refused to accept it, but nowadays I don't feel sorry for myself to assimilate that I am like this and that's it.
Desde que comencé todo ese proceso me he sentido muy bien, más liviano, muchos problemas desaparecieron y hay mucha paz en mi yo interior; muchas ataduras se despojaron de mi y comencé a ver mi verdadera realidad para comenzar a forjar la que realmente quiero tener.
Ese es otro punto importante, muchos no viven su realidad, la real, así menos que menos nos vamos a conocer, por eso es importante prestar extra de atención a estos temas de crecimiento personal y espiritual, está en juego nuestra paz, nuestro futuro y nuestro presente. Somos los verdaderos responsables de lo que nos pasa, más nadie lo es, se suele culpar al otro de lo que sucede, pero el único culpable es uno mismo. Since I started this whole process I have felt very good, lighter, many problems disappeared and there is a lot of peace in my inner self; many ties were stripped from me and I began to see my true reality to begin to forge the one I really want to have.
That is another important point, many do not live their reality, the real one, so much less we are going to know ourselves, that is why it is important to pay extra attention to these issues of personal and spiritual growth, it is at stake our peace, our future and our present. We are truly responsible for what happens to us, but no one else is, it is common to blame others for what happens, but the only one to blame is oneself.
