Aquí en Argentina estamos por despedir el otoño para dar paso al frío y gris invierno. Los árboles de las calles ya se ven desnudos, mostrando su fragilidad y, a la vez, su fortaleza.
Eso me hizo pensar en cuántos otoños he tenido en mi vida… cuántos momentos en los que he tenido que despojarme de todo lo que me hacía sentir cómoda y segura para avanzar con cierta fragilidad ante situaciones que pensé no estar preparada para transitar, y mucho menos para superar. Sin embargo, en ese aparente estado de fragilidad, pude ver mi fortaleza.
No sé si han escuchado la frase que dice que estamos hechos del tamaño de los desafíos que se nos presentan. Viendo las hojas de los árboles caer día a día, me asombra lo acertada que es esa frase. Porque si no nos despojamos de lo que ya no es necesario, jamás podremos saber de qué estamos hechos.
Si yo no hubiese transitado todos los otoños que he vivido, con situaciones que me dejaron aparentemente sin nada, vacía, desnuda, frágil e indefensa, hoy no sabría de qué estoy hecha, cuál es mi mayor fortaleza, ni qué valores y principios rigen mi vida.
Lo mismo pasa con los árboles. Al verlos sin sus hojas, podemos apreciar en su gran mayoría su hermoso y poderoso ramaje, que además se extiende y se enlaza en decenas de delgadas ramificaciones. Desprovistas de su follaje, nos permiten ver lo soberbio y majestuoso de su arquitectura: perfecta y lista para soportar lo que venga.
Otra similitud que me impresiona del otoño con la vida misma son los matices. Esa variedad de tonos que se apodera del ambiente es, sin duda, para mí, la vida hecha paleta natural de colores. Todos y cada uno de nosotros representamos un tono diferente, y con él decoramos la gran paleta que es la vida. Sin nuestro matiz, la vida es diferente. Y aunque parezca que, cuando ya no estamos, todo sigue igual, no es cierto: nuestro matiz falta.
Por eso las ausencias se sienten tan fuerte cuando alguien ya no está. Nacerán nuevos matices y surgirán nuevas combinaciones, pero las que estaban ya no estarán más. Eso hace única e irrepetible la paleta de colores del mundo. Por eso, los colores del otoño reflejan tanto la vida.
Cada estación del año tiene, para mí, su propia similitud con los ciclos que vivimos.
Hoy quiero invitarte a celebrarte por todos y cada uno de los otoños que has vivido. Por todas esas veces en que creíste que no podrías… y aún así, sin saber cómo, lo lograste.
Hoy te invito a agradecer cada una de esas hojas que has perdido en el camino, porque te permitieron conocerte, valorarte y saber, con certeza, que vas a poder, aunque por momentos necesites detenerte a descansar, llorar o reevaluar
Hoy te invito a creer que, así como en el clima el otoño pasa, en la vida también pasará… y será una linda anécdota para recordar.

Here in Argentina we are about to say goodbye to autumn to give way to the cold and gray winter. The trees in the streets are already bare, showing their fragility and, at the same time, their strength.
That made me think about how many autumns I have had in my life... how many moments in which I have had to strip myself of everything that made me feel comfortable and safe to move forward with a certain fragility in the face of situations that I thought I was not prepared to go through, much less to overcome. However, in that apparent state of fragility, I was able to see my strength.
I don't know if you have heard the phrase that says that we are made the size of the challenges we face. Watching the leaves on the trees fall day by day, I am amazed at how accurate that phrase is. Because if we don't shed what is no longer necessary, we will never know what we are made of.
If I had not gone through all the autumns I have lived through, with situations that left me seemingly with nothing, empty, naked, fragile and defenseless, today I would not know what I am made of, what my greatest strength is, nor what values and principles govern my life
It is the same with trees. When we see them without their leaves, we can appreciate the great majority of their beautiful and powerful branches, which also extend and intertwine in dozens of slender ramifications. Stripped of their foliage, they allow us to see how superb and majestic their architecture is: perfect and ready to withstand whatever comes
Another similarity that impresses me about autumn with life itself are the shades. That variety of tones that takes over the environment is, without a doubt, for me, life made natural palette of colors. Each and every one of us represents a different hue, and with it we decorate the great palette that is life. Without our hue, life is different. And although it may seem that, when we are gone, everything remains the same, it is not true: our hue is missing.
That is why absences are felt so strongly when someone is no longer there. New shades will be born and new combinations will emerge, but the ones that were there will no longer be there. That makes the world's color palette unique and unrepeatable. That is why the colors of autumn are so reflective of life.
Each season of the year has, for me, its own similarity with the cycles we live.
Today I want to invite you to celebrate yourself for each and every autumn you have experienced. For all those times when you thought you couldn't... and yet, without knowing how, you made it.
Today I invite you to be grateful for each and every one of those leaves you have lost along the way, because they allowed you to know yourself, to value yourself and to know, with certainty, that you will be able to, even if at times you need to stop to rest, cry or reevaluate.
Today I invite you to believe that, just as in the weather, autumn will pass, in life it will also pass... and it will be a nice anecdote to remember.
