Siempre atenta de las iniciativas que propone la comunidad como punto de encuentro de saberes y experiencias, me encontré con la de @damarysvibra y Ser resolutivo por lo que le he leído y nutrido de toda la información que han dado los participantes y por ende vengo a aportar desde mi experiencia lo que es ser resolutivo.
Hello my dear friends of wellbeing, I greet you and hope that everything is going well in your lives. Always attentive to the initiatives proposed by the community as a meeting point for knowledge and experiences, I came across @damarysvibra and [Being resolute] so I have read and nourished from all the information given by the participants and therefore I come to contribute from my experience what it is to be resolute.
¿Resolvemos o nos quejamos?
Uno de los episodios más oscuros de mi vida a nivel emocional los viví en 2019. En ese momento, mi mundo se quebró en pequeños pedazos y no sabía como empezar a reconstruirlo; caí en las etapas del duelo de la negación, ira, duelo, negociación y aceptación. Este proceso no fue de uno ni dos meses, pero con el pasar de los años fui sanando, a mi ritmo, a mi proceso, resolviendo cada pezado porque no podía hacerlos todos a la vez.
Cierto tiempo después, fui contratada para dictar formaciones de "Motivación al Logro", ¿Cómo iba a hacerlo? Bueno, si yo había estado rota y pude sanar, entonces era capaz de transmitir mis conocimientos a los demás.
Do we solve or do we complain? One of the darkest episodes of my life on an emotional level was in 2019. At that time, my world broke into small pieces and I didn't know how to start rebuilding it; I fell into the stages of grief of denial, anger, mourning, bargaining and acceptance. This process did not take one or two months, but as the years went by I healed, at my own pace, at my own process, resolving each step because I could not do them all at once. Some time later, I was hired to give "Motivation to Achieve" trainings, how could I do that? Well, if I had been broken and was able to heal, then I was able to pass on my knowledge to others.
Una de las características de ser resolutiva (muy bien explicadas por nuestra hivers @Damarysvibra) es la identificación del problema. Es decir, yo quiero algo ya sea material, espiritual, profesional, laboral, familiar, o de cualquier índole yo primero debo preguntarme por qué lo quiero, es decir, que me llevó a esa situación de querer cambiar y transformar lo que tengo a lo que quiero llegar.
Cuando mis estudiantes identificaban la situación entonces, procedía a lo que yo llamaba "la pregunta de revelación", dónde les planteaba lo siguiente:
¿Cuánto tiempo llevas anhelando eso?
Esta pregunta los hacía caer en cuenta si de verdad estaban siendo resolutivos para poder actuar sobre esta situación o simplementemente se quedaban desde la queja; aquí les voy a poner los ejemplos mas comunes que encontraba de respuestas:
- En primer lugar, era tener una casa. Una vez me repondieron: 20 años esperando ¡Señor Jesús! en 20 años ¿qué has hecho? esta fue la respuesta: es que vinieron los hijos, las obligaciones, esperando por el gobierno. Aunque no lo dije, lo pensé: usted no ha querido una casa, usted lo que ha querido es comodidad. Luego de esto, comenzamos a trabajar en esa canalización de su idea y espero que haya tomado al menos algún consejo de los que les dí.
- Este era el otro lado de la moneda cuando querían todo "para ya", porque estaba de moda, la era de emprender. Cuando indagaba en qué quieres hacerlo, tus talentos, materiales, espacios físicos, conocimiento de leyes de emprendimiento, requisitos en el banco para el préstamo inicial, me decían que no sabían nada de eso; incluso hubo una respuesta de algo como: "es que mi vecina hace tortas y le va bien" o "yo lo que quiero es ser mi propio jefe". Allí venia mi trabajo: usted sabe que un castillo no se construye de la noche a la mañana, que debe cultivar un talento, debe averiguar como conseguir ingresos, debe aliarse con personas que si sepan y por allí los canalizaba. Tampoco sé si en algún momento tomaron los consejos o siguieron con el plan de "resolver su vida como ellos pensaban" y si esa decisión se mantuvo en el tiempo.
- Por último, los casos mas frecuentes eran irse del país "porque esto estaba mal", "porque mi primo se fue y me dijo que me esperaba", "porque yo trabajo, reuno y compro una casa" y tantas barbaridades (porque era eso, una solución sin resolución) que tenía que respirar profundo para seguir siendo una profesional y no "quitarle su ilusión". La respuesta era variopinta, pero sin algo en concreto, solo querían irse y ya, esa era la solución a todos sus problemas; mi consejo iba orientado a estudiar bien sus posibilidades, el plan B, llevarse algún aval de cursos, aprender un oficio, y enfocarse en metas a corto, mediano y largo plazo. Espero que les haya ido muy bien desarrollando sus talentos en otras latitudes.
- First of all, it was to have a house. Once I was told: 20 years waiting, Lord Jesus, in 20 years, what have you done? This was the answer: children came, obligations, waiting for the government. Although I didn't say it, I thought: you didn't want a house, what you wanted was comfort. After that, we started to work on channelling your idea and I hope you took at least some of the advice I gave you.
- This was the other side of the coin when they wanted everything "for now", because it was fashionable, the era of entrepreneurship. When I inquired about what you want to do, your talents, materials, physical spaces, knowledge of entrepreneurship laws, requirements at the bank for the initial loan, they told me they didn't know anything about it; there was even a response of something like: "my neighbour makes cakes and she does well" or "what I want is to be my own boss". That's where my work came in: you know that a castle is not built overnight, that you have to cultivate a talent, you have to find out how to earn an income, you have to ally yourself with people who know how to do it, and that's where I channelled them. I also don't know if at some point they took the advice or continued with the plan to "solve their life as they thought" and if that decision was maintained over time.
- Finally, the most frequent cases were to leave the country "because this was wrong", "because my cousin left and told me that he was waiting for me", "because I work, get together and buy a house" and so many other barbarities (because it was just that, a solution without resolution) that I had to take a deep breath to continue being a professional and not "take away their illusion". The answer was varied, but without something concrete, they just wanted to leave and that was the solution to all their problems; my advice was oriented to study well their possibilities, plan B, take some endorsement of courses, learn a trade, and focus on short, medium and long term goals. I hope you have done very well developing your talents in other latitudes.
Toda esta experiencia me enseñó que para ser resolutivo no hay que actuar con las visceras (en sentido figurado) sino con el entendimiento y la inteligencia emocional, es decir, no tomar decisiones a la ligera sin consultar sus alternativas, fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y todas las herramientas que tenían a su disposición para poder lograrlo, porque una decisión tomada a la ligera, puede traer mas problemas del que tenía inicialmente.
Ser resolutivo nos permite ser empáticos, serenos, objetivos, cautelosos, planificadores, sin dejarnos llevar por el momento o la desesperación de "resolver todo ya".
Por eso es necesario que paralelo al problema que estemos presentando, podamos cultivar nuestro ser, nuestro bienestar, las relaciones interpersonales porque a veces los problemas se resuelven en conjunto y ser visualizadores ¿Cómo me veo yo tomando tal alternativa? ¿Qué obstáculos se pueden presentar? ¿Cómo actuaré ante tal situación? ¿Afectará a terceros? ¿Cómo me sentiré si la solución tomada no es la correcta? Por eso repito, no tomar a la ligera una situación porque "se tiene que resolver" sino estudiar sus repercuciones a nivel personal y colectivo, porque no es lo mismo fallar en una materia que me afecta solo a mí, que decidir mudarme de país que afecta a mi núcleo familiar.
All this experience taught me that in order to be decisive, one must not act with the visceral (figuratively speaking) but with understanding and emotional intelligence, that is, not to take decisions lightly without consulting their alternatives, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and all the tools they had at their disposal to achieve it, because a decision taken lightly can bring more problems than they had initially. Being decisive allows us to be empathetic, serene, objective, cautious, planners, without getting carried away by the moment or the desperation to "solve everything now".
That is why it is necessary that parallel to the problem we are facing, we can cultivate our being, our well-being, interpersonal relationships because sometimes problems are solved together and be visualisers. How do I see myself taking such an alternative? What obstacles may arise? How will I act in such a situation? Will it affect third parties? How will I feel if the solution taken is not the right one? That is why I repeat, do not take a situation lightly because "it has to be solved" but study its repercussions at a personal and collective level, because it is not the same to fail in a matter that affects only me, as it is to decide to move to another country that affects my family.
Para concluir, creo que no tenemos el control de todo y que en muchas oportunidades vamos a fallar o el problema "nos abruma", bueno, también en válido rectificar, reorganizar, revisar, tomar decisiones alternativas así como podemos buscar ayuda, porque "no nos las sabemos todas".

To conclude, I believe that we are not in control of everything and that in many opportunities we will fail or the problem "overwhelms us", well, it is also valid to rectify, reorganise, review, make alternative decisions and we can seek help, because "we don't know everything".
