Hola familia Holos y Lotus. ¡Qué bueno compartir de nuevo con ustedes reflexiones y pensamientos! Quiero empezar con una pregunta para reflexión personal (no es necesario responder por escrito). Pensemos en cuántas veces hemos sentido que tenemos todo lo que merecemos, o aquello que queremos o necesitamos, y aún así todavía sentimos que nos falta algo.
Hello Holos and Lotus family, how nice to share reflections and thoughts with you again! I want to start with a question for personal reflection (no need to answer in writing). Let's think about how many times we have felt that we have everything we deserve, or what we want or need, and yet we still feel that something is missing.
La vida nos pone en situaciones que nos hacen preguntarnos una y otra vez ¿qué más necesito para ser feliz? Entonces nuestra respuesta dependerá de lo que sea que estemos viviendo, como vivamos en ese momento y nuestras experiencias pasadas de lo que alguna vez fue o lo que pudo haber sido y nunca sucedió. Comenzamos a replantearnos nuestra experiencia en este planeta y a compararla con la de otras personas, y puede hasta parecer que jamás alcanzaremos la felicidad.
Life puts us in situations that make us ask ourselves over and over again what more do I need to be happy? Then our answer will depend on whatever we are living, how we are living at that moment and our past experiences of what once was or what could have been and never happened. We begin to rethink our experience on this planet and compare it to that of other people, and it may even seem that we will never achieve happiness.
El ser humano en su búsqueda constante, experimenta sensaciones que le hacen creer que aún no es suficiente. Tenemos salud, un hogar estable, comida en la mesa y satisfechas las necesidades y comodidades básicas, una familia, amigos, trabajo, tal vez pareja, pero seguimos sintiendo como que necesitamos más para estar en total armonía con nosotros mismos. Lo más curioso es que la mayoría de las veces no logramos identificar qué es aquello que según nuestro parecer nos hará sentir plenas y plenos.
The human being, in his constant search, experiences sensations that make him believe that he is still not enough. We have health, a stable home, food on the table and basic needs and comforts satisfied, a family, friends, work, maybe a partner, but we still feel like we need more to be in total harmony with ourselves. The funny thing is that most of the time we fail to identify what it is that we think will make us feel full and complete.
No debemos deprimirnos ni sentirnos mal por pensar de esa forma. Por el contrario, debemos afrontarlo con valentía y asumirlo como un reto que nos motive a salir cada día a buscar lo que necesitamos para completarnos.
We should not get depressed or feel bad for thinking that way. On the contrary, we should face it with courage and assume it as a challenge that motivates us to go out every day to look for what we need to complete ourselves.
En mi caso en ocasiones me siento sola, a pesar de estar rodeada de personas lindas y que en realidad me quieren y son capaces de dar todo por mí entre los que están amistades y mi familia, pero a pesar de eso, sigo creyendo que necesito más afecto. No es un vacío negativo. Tengo amigos maravillosos con los que comparto estudios, trabajo y muchos recuerdos que a medida que van pasando los años van creciendo en número e intensidad. Vivo con mi familia y hablo con mi padre a diario. He conocido nuevas personas entre finales del año pasado y principios de este, pero aún necesito más.
In my case, sometimes I feel lonely, even though I am surrounded by beautiful people who really love me and are capable of giving everything for me, including friends and family, but despite that, I still believe that I need more affection. It is not a negative void. I have wonderful friends with whom I share studies, work and many memories that as the years go by grow in number and intensity. I live with my family and talk to my father daily. I have met new people between the end of last year and the beginning of this one, but I still need more.
Y así sé que muchos de nosotros tenemos alguna esfera de la vida a la que le reclamamos porque desearíamos más y aún no nos satisface por completo. Puede parecer injusto, o mal agradecimiento por aquello que nos fue dado como don y atraído por nuestra propia energía, sin embargo no lo es. Según lo veo, de eso se trata la vida: ir buscando todo aquello que nos llene. No creo que algo material sea eso que buscamos. Lo material pasa y la vida y el tiempo corren. Debemos canalizar nuestras fuerzas en hallar aquello que llene nuestro espíritu y nos haga bien, seguir buscando y encontrando, seguir amando y haciendo bien y así de a poco, ese vacío que nunca se llena irá desapareciendo de nuestra mente, porque lo hemos logrado trabajando y disfrutando el proceso.
And so I know that many of us have some sphere of life that we complain about because we would like more and it still does not fully satisfy us. It may seem unfair, or unjust to be grateful for that which was given to us as a gift and attracted by our own energy, but it is not. As I see it, that's what life is all about: searching for whatever fulfills us. I do not believe that something material is what we are looking for. Material things pass and life and time go by. We must channel our strength in finding that which fills our spirit and does us good, keep searching and finding, keep loving and doing good and so little by little, that emptiness that is never filled will disappear from our mind, because we have achieved it by working and enjoying the process.
No está mal buscar nuestro complemento perfecto. Por el contrario, nos motiva a estar siempre en constante actividad y movernos de un lado a otro, interactuar y no nos da tiempo a funcionar por inercia sin un propósito. Busca nuevos amigos, un nuevo hogar, ser promovida o promovido en el trabajo, el amor, un espacio sin ruidos, pero busca. No dejes de buscar. Si lo haces dejarás de vivir y estarás estancada en la rutina, la monotonía y lo habitual. Sin tener necesidad de salir se tu zona de confort.
It is not wrong to look for our perfect complement. On the contrary, it motivates us to always be in constant activity and move from one place to another, interact and does not give us time to function by inertia without a purpose. Look for new friends, a new home, to be promoted at work, love, a space without noise, but look. Don't stop looking. If you do, you will stop living and you will be stuck in routine, monotony and habit. No need to leave your comfort zone.
