Acudo con mucha emoción y motivado por la iniciativa propuesta por mi siempre bien estimada @mosa71, con el ánimo de despertar en la comunidad nuestra todo lo que se traduzca en signo de celebración por la fecha del amor, cuyo mayor día o bandera es el 14 de febrero.

Puedo hablar de serenatas con toda la propiedad y conocimiendo pues desde que yo contaba con 14 años empecé a dar serenatas, algunas veces en Las Mercedes del Llano y otras veces más en San Juan de los Morros. Eso comenzó en 1968.

En ese entonces era un tocador delcuatro principiante, pero como muy pocos muchachos se inclinaban a tocar este instrumento musical, me solicitaban mucho, sobre todo, desde que cumplí los 18 años, que podía andar por las noches sin ningún problema.

Muchas vivencias dejé a mi paso, pero como se trata de una iniciativa de la actualidad, voy a dedicar mi serenata a una dama por la que siempre sentí atracción, y que le canté muchas veces a su ventana. (Y todavía puedo hacerlo).

Hoy quiero revivir esos momentos mágicos, y hacer de esta oportunidad algo sumamente hermoso y ayudado por la imaginación. Ojalá que Marlene me pudiera prestar atención como hace casi 50 años.

Las serenatas a las que asistí constaban de unas 5 canciones, entre las que se tomaba en cuenta la hora y la excusa por interrumpir el sueño.

Le voy a brindar a Marlene el siguiente ramillete de canciones:

Declaro que aun con el pasar de los años, el amor bonito que llegué a sentir por Marlene, se mantiene incólume en el tiempo, y si tengo ocasión, me llegaré hasta su casa y le daré esta serenata.

Marlene está divorciada, y siempre le fascinaban mis canciones, mucho más cuando le cantaba con la guitarra, y confieso que llevo años dándole serenata a Marlene. No tuvimos romance, pero sí atracción mutua y amistad.

Solo voy a traer el vídeo de Mujer, abre tu ventana, que es la canción que más he llevado como serenata.

También quiero dejar un poema dedicado al amor y a la amistad, y son unas décimas tradicionales.

Las décimas del amor.

Ya llegó el mes de febrero
llamado mes del amor
donde hay claror y color

por sobre todas las cosas,

tendremos siempre en la vía
al actuar con simpatía

a través de un corazón

Pongamos cada vez más
el socorro colectivo
como principal motivo
en la senda a recorrer
para que podamos ser
un ejemplo hermoso y vivo.

hagamos un noble mundo
lleno de amor furibundo
que es el afecto mayor.
Febrero es mes del amor
para la felicidad
y también de la amistad
entre los seres humanos
queriéndose como hermanos
por toda la eternidad.

I come with great emotion and motivated by the initiative proposed by my always well esteemed @mosa71, with the aim of awakening in our community everything that translates into a sign of celebration for the date of love, whose biggest day or flag is the 14th of February.

I can speak of serenades with all propriety and knowledge because since I was 14 years old I began to give serenades, sometimes in Las Mercedes del Llano and other times in San Juan de los Morros. That began in 1968.

At that time I was a beginner player of the cuatro, but as very few boys were inclined to play this musical instrument, I was in great demand, especially since I was 18 years old, when I could walk at night without any problem.

I left many experiences in my wake, but as this is a modern-day initiative, I am going to dedicate my serenade to a lady for whom I always felt attracted, and who I sang many times at her window (and I still can).

Today I want to relive those magical moments, and make this opportunity something extremely beautiful and helped by imagination. I wish Marlene could pay attention to me as she did almost 50 years ago.

The serenades I attended consisted of about 5 songs, with the time and the excuse for interrupting sleep being taken into account.
