¿Cómo merecerte? Si cada vez que trato de devolver lo que me das, me siento tan pequeñita, como si realmente no hubiese conocido lo que es amar. Y me esfuerzo día a día por alcanzar eso que tú sientes al ser tan especial con los demás.
Me das tanto que me llenas, me complaces, me desbordas. No podría igualar, tus atenciones y tus mil maneras de amar. Fuiste una pequeña luz que me ayudó a encontrar un lugar seguro en el cual descansar.
Cada noche que pedí entre lágrimas un motivo para sonreír, yo allí no lo sabía, pero era un día menos que faltaba para encontrarte a ti. Solo tú lograste tomar los pedazos que había y volverlos a unir. Sin forzar nada, sin romper nada, poco a poco llegaste a ser parte de mí. Y es que no es solo amor lo que siento yo por ti, es agradecimiento, admiración, fascinación. Por mi mente, encontrar a alguien tan lleno de cualidades, nunca pasó. Ya no veo el pasado con tristeza ni al futuro con temor, porque sé que el pasado ya no existe y el futuro ahora se ve mucho mejor.

Se vale levantarse, se vale volver a enamorarse y se vale seguir, intentar las metas, los sueños y todos esos deseos que un día se tornaron de un triste gris, y que ni yo creía que fuera posible seguir hasta que te conocí. He aprendido que la vida es así, gente va y viene, pero hay quienes llegan, se quedan y te aportan tanto, que el único resultado es ser feliz.
No sé cómo haces para ayudarme a sanar, pero se te da tan sutil, tan fácil, tan natural, como si simplemente estuvieras hecho para mí, y encajaras tan a la perfección, que no quedan vacíos por llenar.
Aunque me abrazaras con todas tus fuerzas mi alma se sentiría libre. Porque no eres celda cariño, eres bosque en el cual puedo sumirme. Si pudiera escoger un lugar para rendirme, escojo estar a tu lado, porque con los ojos cerrados sé que lucharías por mí. Jamás me dejarías hundirme.
Aunque en ocasiones me haces la guerra, siempre me traes paz, y cuando por dentro grito con todas mis fuerzas, mis silencios tú sabes escuchar. No amor, no merezco tanto, esperaba menos, y eres mucho más. No estaba preparada para esto, pero no soy de las que se echan para atrás. Reflexión: Cuántos de nosotros tal vez hemos sentido miedo de un nuevo comienzo. Hay quienes nos acostumbran a que el amor tiene que doler, y no tiene por qué ser así. Hay amores que sanan y restauran y cuando llegan realmente no sabemos cómo cuidarlos. Pero siempre podemos aprender a hacerlo mejor, y acostumbrarnos a qué merecemos cosas buenas en nuestra vida.

Reflection: How many of us have perhaps felt fear of a new beginning. There are those who accustom us to the idea that love has to hurt, and it doesn't have to be that way. There are loves that heal and restore and when they come we really don't know how to take care of them. But we can always learn to do better, and get used to the fact that we deserve good things in our lives.
