The first post I put up for this account, was highlighting an entry into a contest for photography here locally. I actually placed and am kind of pumped to further pursue photography now.

One of my favorite things to photograph are bugs. The little things. It is the little things that make life interesting, no? I am partial to the more dangerous and lethal ones. Maybe it's a fetish to test the waters of nature and see if the fates hold me as dear as some people do. Who knows?

But let's get to it. If you follow @enginewitty, then you already know that I love to take shots of spiders. It is not often I get a good picture (or one that I like anyway) of the webs themselves. I did get lucky the other night though. Now, I do not have a good night time lens on my phone, but the flash did allow for some neat effects.

What do you think? Again, I don't have a great night time camera, but I just had to try and get the web. I think it came out okay for what it is. I especially like the refraction on the closer up picture. Anyhooz, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, because I'm SpiderBatPool.
