Hello for my first in this community I present to you a sunset for the month of October 2023. As usual I like that in my photos you can see the reflection of the sun in the clouds and a backlight with the light coming through the trees. It's a difficult time to take photos, winter is fast approaching and for almost 3 weeks we have had continuous rain. This changes us by 6 fewer droughts. It's a shame about the rain because autumn remains the best time to take sunset and sunrise photos due to the fact that the sun is much lower in the sun and the rays are low which will give a very orange effect. For the past few days, a storm has hit us hard. Normally it passes in September but with climate change it prolongs its passage with increasingly strong winds fortunately being far inland I do not feel the 150 km/h of wind that it has on the coasts.
I took my photos with a smartphone as I often don't have the camera with me and I don't want to leave it in the car with the thermal difference leaving drops of condensation on the sensor. I have already had this bad experience; I had to buy expensive equipment to clean it in addition to the handling which still risks scratching the sensor, the most sensitive part of the SLR camera.
I still have some images on my hard drive but the disadvantage of the smartphone remains that the quality of the image capture remains random and it remains only a phone with a camera option. However, I remain surprised by what he manages to take photos of me.
At home, people don't like having their photos taken, at least by strangers. So I am careful not to take any individuals in my images unless they are backlit because there they cannot be recognized.
I hope that my images have pleased you as I have managed to freeze in time this sunset which was for me at the time of the photos a moment of ecstasy admiring this beauty that many people take the time to appreciate.
I admit that since I met Hive I take more time to look at them and capture the magical moments that he gives us.
I wish you all a very good, magical time in this already well advanced weekend.
